There is a big reason why The Indian Fever got the Overall number 1 draft pick in the person of Caitlin Clark. Last night's game provided the testament...a lousy coach and a team of losers...players, who lack fundamental basics in basketball. Some of these players do not know how to do basic pick and roll, and were missing low post shots, because they were not using the back-board to trickle-in the ball in the ring. I was surprised why the coach did not not call time-outs, every time they were momentum swings to the other side, and to create set-up plays for Caitlin Clark. The owner should FIRE this dumb coach ASAP.
I thought the same thing when I saw the first game. My coach in high school would say things like, "Go up strong, use the backboard, box out." The backboard is your friend. I like Sides and I think she is doing a good job of the team bonding. I do think it seems like both Wheeler and Mitchell don't want to pass to Clark. It was a tough 1-point loss, but the entire team lost that game--it wasn't one player and it wasn't the coach. I can't believe they could lose that game after they were up. But it wasn't the coach.
I think anyone would be frustrated being the #1 pick and having to play on the worst team(especially if you are competitive). She worked so hard to get her college team to the point it was, only to have to start all over again.
Wheeler is wasted minutes. There are better players who might pass a ball to the reigning all time college scorer, sometime. Wheeler instead will pound the dribble to no effect until the shot clock runs out and she must take a lousy shot, blow a lay up or fall down and hope for the referee to bail her out. Not good.

Here is a Reese hater. Reese is trash, Indiana handed them that game, Chicago did not win it. CC is 3-1 against Reese going back to NCAA tournament. And Mitchell is a selfish ball hog, needs to be traded. Also CC was amazing in that game with 13 assists, setting a team record. Mitchell dropped 3 easy passes from CC that should have counted as Mitchell turnovers and not CC turnovers. And the Indiana coach is awful who has Mitchell as a favorite while putting the restraints on CC. You have to be completely incompetent as a coach for Reese to score more than 14 points against you.
