I got my pen working! Trunk of Requirements suggested either letting the pen sit with tip down for a couple hours, so the ink can flow down, or cleaning the tip, in case it's clogged (unscrew the tip, remove the ink cartridge, run the tip under water, dry, reassemble). After cleaning, mine is working great!

I had the same problem with the pen. I took the cartridge out and propped it upright. I then ran warm tap water over the nib and into the top where the cartridge goes. I dried it off and reassembled. It works fine.

Thank you! Mine started working too after running the tip under water. They just needed a little freshening up lol. And now I know: keep your fountain pen clean.

The unicorn tapestry is a Slytherin Common Room tapestry which has more green in it than what you have. If you watch the scene in Harry Potter where Harry and Ron are in the Southern Common Room with Malloy the camera cuts over to show the unicorn tapestry on the wall.

Mine is coming today! PS. A heat gun might work instead of fire if ur nervous about fire. Each item is gorgeous and unique at the same time….Truly an amazing box!

Sorry for the delayed reply. Yes! I unscrewed the tip from the base of the pen, pulled out the ink cartridge, then ran the tip under cold water for awhile. I let it dry then reassembled and it worked!
