I am not sure I understand what ZPE is, but that does not prevent me to experience similar things. Thank you for having raised awareness about these subtle phenomena ✨
I studied quantum mechanics, but in this theoretical framework, ZPE refers to a much more limited concept. As I understand it, it is simply the lowest quantum energy state we can conceive.
However, this is true there is much to unveil and understand here for us, as ZPE is qualified as the « greatest discrepancy of (earthlings) physics », because when computed with the framework of quantum field theory, it has a precise value, while computed in the framework of general relativity, it has a completely different value (or had, as the state of the art of our knowledge might have changed since I studied this topic).
If these phenomena are really related to ZPE, because even our best scientists still don’t understand it well, then I conclude that we still can’t really understand them too, so far 🤷🏻
So much seems to remain to be understood, if possible ✨
Fortunately, we don’t need to understand something to experience it, as for instance we can walk without having understood how muscles work 💪🏼
