Congrats on the Z8! I share in your excitement and financial pain as I, too, just got a Z8! We've basically made similar moves. I had no Z lenses, so I went with the 14-30 f4, 24-120 f4, and the 100-400 f4. I can't believe what I can get hand held now. They have been blowing my mind! Also got the F-mount converter cuz I've been shooting Nikon DSLRs since 2004. My journey has also been like yours. I shot DX from 2004 to 2012, and went full-frame in 2012 with a brand-new D600. Then got a used D810 in 2017 for a great price and I've never loved a camera more than the D810. So, it looks like I go for a major upgrade every 5-6 years or so. Now with the Z8, I can only hope to match my love of the D810. Oh, and I got the 50mm 1.8s just yesterday. It shoots in the dark. It's really amazing to be shooting mirrorless. It's a whole new world of stunning quality!

Hi! I have already bought a few Z lenses. The Z 24-70mm f2.8 is the lens I have used the most so far, but I have also got the Z MC 105mm. I plan to compare my old adapted Sigma macro lens vs. the new Z macro lens in spring if I find the time.
