Thanks James- It's very hardy- and it has a wonderful BLUE Cast to it... and it smells good too... it will dry out- and it's a little pokey- but what the heck- it's Christmas- it's not Christmas without some little pokes from Evergreen and Holly Right??? In using a foam sphere in a net do you need to tape as well to stop sphere from falling apart?
That's a very good Question Anne... thanks for asking it... No technically Not- as the net provides the same service as the anchor tape... so You can ROLL Right ahead with the netted sphere... I loved when Oasis Introduced them... it was a great benefit to the flower professional! THANKS for the GREAT Question!

Are the top not heavier than bottom? How to secure vase,any tips?
Two things...
1. The base is filled with Wet Foam- and the stems are shoved in- all the way to the bottom of the vase- this helps to counter balance- the entire arrangement... it's Physics....
2. I'm fascinated that "Flower Designers" try to convince themselves that something WON'T Work... or WILL HAVE PROBLEMS...
that is setting yourself up for disaster... ALWAYS Try out a design- test it... find out how it works- improve it... or change it... to suit your needs...
We ALL (me included) Need to be POSITIVE- and Invest in our Mechanics- and Education- so we can be the BEST we Can BE!

I no longer be have a resale license. Can you recommend a vendor who will sell permanent botanicals? I've discovered through the design institute I can buy fresh flowers from 50 flowers without a license. I'm retired person who used to be a floral designer for 12 years. I miss flowers. 😞
Good Question Tiger Lily- I find the best Deals at Michaels or Hobby Lobby- I don't know of any of the Major Manufacturers that sell direct at the present time... I don't know where you live- but there is a great Place in Fresno- The Designer Flower Center- it's a terrific location for wonderful permanent botanicals... they have a special right now 10% for new customers... www.designerflowercenter.com/

How often should the glory be sprayed on the flowers?
If you're selling them, you spray before you give to the client or before putting on show. Don't over use it. 😉

I spray them before they go to the customer- however you can give them a few coats... especially for delicate flowers- Gardenias, Glads, Hydrangea- I give them a couple coats- letting each one dry... before the next application!

No I don't Paula- too difficult in my state to do the certification requirements... however- many of the tips, tricks and techniques I share will be helpful to you in your quest for certification! Thanks for the question!

They are the BY Pass Cutters from Dramm- they are part of the colorpoint collection... I also use the Compact Pruner... You can get them on Amazon- or at your local garden center... THANKS for the Question!
How do you water the top piece of oasis?
As stated in the Video- with a TURKEY Baster... It's an easy way to keep that replenished! THANKS for the QUESTION!
