I'm so frustrated because I don't know what to do to be able to do two different things at the same time. I either focus on one or on the other and even if I try really hard, I just can't play with both hands. And what gets me most is the fact that this song is in book 1. I think it is the third song. OMG please help meby giving me some tips on how to play with both hands.
Felipe Côrtes Hello i am practicing this piano book too and yes it is really confusing at first actually when you try to play with both hands especially this song is a little bit confusing then the other first two ones but i practice the notes first and then imagine it like if i am really playing the piano and then i start to play after i practised the notes it helps me to focus playing with both hands

Maybe just try to do hands separate?
try 'look out beep-beep' instead: The Suzuki motor industry. And you'll get it automatically in a thump of the fist and cross of the hand.
