The final Famicom game in Hudson's caravan competitions is also the hardest one yet.

I'd heard of this one but never got to check it out. definitely heard about the hudson caravan thing, always thought that whole thing was a super cool idea! (I feel like arcade archives kinda does it now with a five-minute time trial of their arcade games) might be one to keep an eye out for i'm always down for a good shmup. also I wonder what the PCE caravan game i.... oh FFS. of course.

I've seen this cart a couple times lately, but I have that caravan package they ported it with +2 others on Super Famicom, still bare bones overall but a good set of bare bones

I went to watch a video of the caravan festival and the first video I see is 14 years old and uses the same music you do in your year of the FDS intro lol small word

It's technically impressive, but being both murderously difficult and dull as dishwater is quite the combination. This looks like an older game dressed up with (what were then) modern visuals.
