This game lies deep in the roots of my subconscious. I remember sitting on my dad's lap and playing this game on our first PC. I didn't even know you could change planes until now. Holy fuck nostalgia.
One of my favorite older games. I loved the campaign and never being sure what crazy enemy was waiting for me in the next level. I miss having variety in video games. Thanks for the memories!😊
I Loved to Play that as a Kid. I spend dozends of hours (in total at LEAST 1000 hours)Just Shooting and missiling E V E R Y T H I N G in it. I hated the Transportplane (because fuck that plane) and Loved the Alienship (the only one with akimbo AA). However, I found Out some fun Things while playing, that I encourage anyone that has the Game to try Out. 1. Try to Land in Walter with any Plane. IT works, because the Game treats IT AS a Surface. Try landing in the Kitchensink AS a Transporter XD 2. You can Land in the Alien-Mothership. Ist's quite fun and Linda cathartig, after dying a Fee Times because of the Contolls and Aliens. IT also works in Blimps, but they mostly explode before you are at a standstill. Its quite funny, being flown about on the Back of a Blimp😂 3. No-Shit-Run aka Mom-I-cleaned-the-House-Run. (Whole Campaign + Training + Bonus Mission) Try to NEVER get Hit and to preserve ALL the destructable Objects in the House while managing your Objectives. Seriously, try that. NEVER get damaged, even when you Land and aren't able to crash into Something. Its Harder, thank you Think and at the Same Time easier. And never letting Objects bei destroyed, either by you or the enemy ist also quite hard. Alot of the Enemys prefire their Rockets into you. Just Bad, If you are in the Patentsbedroom and an Enemy fires their Rocket into the Bookshelf in the Livingroom. Hello Replay of that Mission :-). 4. Missiles to the Face Run. Collect at least 20 Missiles and Shoot in every Level with an Enemy the Last One or "The big Bad"(Dino/Mothership/Robot/etc.) all 20 Missiles in the Face. Fire all Missiles, before the First impacts. ^^ 5. You can Glitch into the Aquarium into the Couchroom. Simple Land onto the Water, Point the Nose down and engage the Backburner. Then you are Inside the Aquarium (a 4x10 Space inside). I haven't found a way Out yet, other than Reloading the Mission, but its fun. 6. You can escape the Missiles with your Afterburner. You are Taster than them If you are the UFO and use the Burners. 7. Friendly fire ist ON in this Game. The Enemy can shoot other Enemys for you. E.g. Soldiers shoot other Soldiers, Tanks shoot their Missile-Buddys and all Missiles fires by a flying Enemy can be influenced to Impact other Enemys. Of course, that works only, If you are before them. I had this on a disc as a kid. It didn't run. Can you imagine being a kid in 2001 who gets this for Christmas instead of Ace Combat 04? That'd be tragic. (No, I wasn't one of them)
