Famtastic Steve. Pitty about the weather but that's life. As a novice 4wdriver I appreciate the "not too difficult" tracks. I'm adding this to my bucket list. Would love seeing more like this. Well done.
I have to admit I’d never heard the term lookouts for a view, must be an Aussie thing, the view at 125r was absolutely amazing. An incredible view, I’d love to see that again in good weather 🤩🤩
Hi, I was very happy to find this clip, as I have just been out to most of those lookout's on Georges Rd, didn't notice 84R, and Nameless, but my main objective was to get out to 125R...awesome, scary place...what a view. Now you mentioned that there is a lookout off Taylors Rd, but have you been out further ??? going passed Taylors Rd, on Murrell's Rd, to the comm tower, turn down to the right and there's 2 really nice lookout's down there...then if you go out even further, you'll come to a vista that overlooks Mt Vincent, and then even further along again, there's another that looks west, where hang glider take off from. I have a lot of pic's on my Facebook page. Cheers.
Thanks for the kind words Geoff, I have been to the ones you refer to but it was after the video was done so I didn't film the other but really great lookouts there for sure. Cheers Steve
Settling in to this One mate. So you had an add for Colgate and another for Hello Fresh. Must mean I need to cook more and clean my teeth. Lol. Now we will see how the trip goes 👍
Yeah mate the Watagans have something for everyone. Ive yet to film any good 4wding days up there but we will get to that eventually. Stay safe. Cheers Steve
Great clip Steve , James did call it I reckon 125r looks pretty good Annie will do the same thing with me every time I get too close to the edge of a cliff she would clip me over the back of the head when I got back ps Love the way you use Google maps to show where you were going
Good on ya mate it’s sad everytime I go out I manage to fill at least a coles bag full of rubbish that isn’t mine. Respect the bush respect the beach or this awesome lifestyle we live with the place we can go will all be shut off to everyone
Hi mate to be honest we really just winged it, you should be able to find them on any reasonable map. Sorry I haven't got more useful info. Cheers Steve
Great video mate. I'm local to Newcastle and thinking of doing a day trip to check out some of those locations. Would you say a awd like a 2016 Hyundai Santa fe handle the roads. Or would I be better off in a 4x4 nirvana?
Hi mate, thanks for watching, As a 4wder I would always suggest the Navara over the Sante fe, but with careful driving Im sure you could do it, most roads up there are not too tough, if you stick to the forest roads and not the tracks. Hope this helps. Stay safe. Cheers Steve
Hi Mick, when we shot this the roads were pretty easy and I would not worry going alone. With that said it can change quickly up there so if you have some mates that would be cool too. Cheers Steve
@@MudducksTouringAustralia cheers mate. From what I saw it looked pretty good. I'm heading up there with the wife tomorrow for an over night stay. Might set up camp and go for a drive.
@@MudducksTouringAustralia Always fun working on the vehciles mate. Ive had to do plenty of that recently. I rather go during the week when its not so busy. Just bites I have to take the tent this time lol.
@@MudducksTouringAustralia Locations saved, Now to check them out next time Im up there. Camping was brilliant as always but a little scary to see 2 fire trucks come past with their lights on. 🤣😂 I’ve never seen anyone fly spray there bonnet. The mid Adds are Colgate again 😩is this telling me something. Oh and Vodafone. The microphone was hearing you well mate.

Hi mate, what do they call them in the UK? Im 56 and have never heard them called anything else. Stay safe. Cheers Steve
Mudduck's 4wd Touring it’s just a view point back here. A lookout is something we had as a kid in the den looking out for adults (parents) 🤣🤣

That's my biggest fear, is going on a track and not being able to turn back around haha.
