    There went the eletrical wire

    • @TimothyWmYoung

That was my absolute, very first thought as I was watching him trying to break off that overhang. So, what's the take away??
It was my thought that he was trying to get all the snow to begin coming down off the top of his roof. That didn't happen. So, then I thought that maybe it didn't slide off because it was still attached to the other side of the roof at the roof apex. Then I thought that he would have to be up on top of the roof, anyway, with some sort of cutting tool, slicing, hacking (machete), his way through to the roof itself, and then record his video as we could have seen the roof clear, all at one time. But without regard, that looked pretty dangerous to me! I wonder if he was surprised to see his wire disappear!? I wonder what utilities he lost??

This is why properly installed electrical and phone cables are attached at the CORNER of the house.

How about using the leader to poke the snow while standing on the ground? Should be able to achieve the same result, but safer. 🤗

Smart move. Most of us people who live in these snowier areas love to see the snow out our windows but we sure as hell don't want to interact with it. 😂😂

My anxiety said that the ladder and the guy would go down with the snow/ice cap. A simple cable line is kinda a win in my book.
