Bubbling Springs Metal Detecting: A Most Excellent Day (Part Two)

- Please join us as we do a two-part search of a huge permission. In the last episode, we metal detect an old home site and find some buttons and other old relics. It was a beautiful morning with very low hanging clouds and moo-moos wandering about. This site had been hit quite a bit in the past so we decide to move on and search for some new sites after lunch and that will take us to part two right now. I also have a part three where I show how I clean up some of the colonial era coppers that we find. That should run the day after part two.

Absolutely you must go back. With that many graves and foundations, there must be more artifacts. I know you will return.
Next time I have to travel up to the chemistry floor of the science complex here at my university I'm gonna stand next to the display case of skulls they have, point at it when people walk by and go "is it hyooooooooman?" Thank you for the humor and the fun digs!
And see if anyone knows the Chigg!
Aquachigger is the Bob Ross of metal detecting.
I laughed so many times with you two on this adventure. excellent beau thanks for sharing.
Hi Chigg,. Just want to let you know that less than a week ago, I had a total hip replacement and your videos are helping me through it all. My metal detectors have been hanging on the wall for about a year, gathering dust. You have been my inspiration to keep going and get myself better, so I can do what I love again. I want to thank you for that. I live in Texas, but grew up -in Virginia, in the Shenandoah Valley.
Hey Chigg, just wanted to tell you how impressed I am with your expertise in reading the landscape.
I learn from you almost daily when watching your vids.
I love your enthusiasm and the excitement you add to your presentation.
Your knowledge of your finds is top notch too.
I also like the fact that you are into caves and caving, another one of my "hobbies" of yesteryear. At 64 years of age and an additional 100 pounds I doubt that I can fit where I use to!
Thanks again for letting me "join" you on your expeditions.
It's like watching two kids in a candy shop!! I have learned so much from your videos, thank you for all you do!!!
I really enjoy the old cemeteries. They are part of the history as well. The items you find just tell their story.
You have to go back! I love when you guys pair up!
Kate Carpenter I will make sure he knows...I’m watching it for the first time too. Beau and I we joke and tease a lot and have fun together. Sorry not meaning to troll...he often isn’t able to respond and I tell him I help him out...haha
I absolutely loved this video and enjoyed watching y'all immensely! It seemed like y'all could've been any age and from any age: just a couple of friends playing around in the woods, digging in the dirt, speculating about those who roamed the same areas before you, and waiting until the last moment to head home in order to eke out every last drop of awesomeness from the day. I've been quite loyal to Beau in this area, but I've decided to make room for you, too, in my watch time, Todd @ Appalachian History Detectives. I can't wait to see y'all back here! 😊💜
That was a terrific video. The graveyard was fascinating. I hope you go back there soon. Your song is great as always.
This was great guys. Sorry I had to pause and go to town in the middle of it. Just got back and finished watching and it was super. I do hope you get to go right back and hunt some more there Chigg as it seemed like you guys had just scratched the surface. So wonderful of Todd to have you there. I can hardly wait to see what he brings to us in his video's.
Lesa Hanners thanks. I have a good number of videos with him yet to post...hard to know which ones to do next....thanks for checking mine out too
Part 1 & 2 where great videos, learned a lot too..
Oh I love it when you find an untouched site(s). Also those buttons and coins amazing finds. Go the kookaburra. Mic all the way from Oz
I love when Beau gets all breathless and starts moving quick. His voice goes low, he uses bare hands and bleeding scratches? What blood? Those two could not be happier. I think he could do with a little trowel for digging up little treasures. I was seriously impressed by the HotSpot. Can you imagine a reproduction period waistcoat with those buttons? So gorgeous. The graveyard was fascinating. Really enjoyed this video, could almost smell the woods, the leaves and the earth. Thank you.
When you return, you need to cut some of that brush away and detect in there. Great finds.
Nice finds Mr Chigg definitely go back
In a heartbeat. Comeback to this site. Enjoyed the video.
It's amazing that someone else hasn't worked those home sights before! Great location guys! Keep on it! That's too good to pass up!
AWESOME place... would give my right leg to hit an area like that...
Thanx Chigg for another great AQUACHIGGER ADVENTURE see ya on the next
Beau & Todd, Great Vids ( 1 and 2) Fun to watch. The Colonial stuff is really cool.
I expect that there will be more artifacts to be found there. Be Safe in Your travels.
This is definitely one of the most awesome videos so far, the graveyard was very interesting!
Would love to see some more videos of this place! 👍🏻
Beautiful property. Go back definitely
Awesome, coins and buttons and spursssss!
Yes, come back and look around some more. I have an old cemetery just like that one with 17 graves on my property up in the Ozarks of Missouri. The kids think it's pretty creepy but cool. Lol!
Wow, that raised my eyebrows! I'm fascinated with old cemeteries!
I have one that's right behind my house (close enough that I can toss a rock underhand from my back fence and have it land in it) that's been there since 1862 with about 35 graves - including several unmarked slave graves. It too is in the Ozarks..
Linda Samuelson hello from St. Louis! Is the cemetery from your family?
A question came to mind watching this with my wife. I know this is morbid but do you own technically own the corpses?
@@computergrant1 yes me too always drawn to them and the engravings on the headstones are interesting.
Yes, can tell you had fun!
👍awesome chigger and the best day stay blessed.

Second time I watched all three of your bubbling spring series. Todd just put out his third video on bubbling spring, so I also watched his series again also. As a note I have watched every video you have on your Facebook and UA-cam. I found you original from nuggetnoggin’s channel. I look forward to seeing your videos. Love them.
Please go back!!! This might be my favorite location you have hit!
You better had go back I need to see the cool finds waiting for you 😃

In Northern Canada rocks were placed over graves to keep critters from excavating for snacks.
Another great video. Happy Hunting Everyone 🇳🇿
I would definitely go back. There is stuff along the creek from huuuuuman activity. ATB, Sebastian
Heck yeah Beau, go back! Along the creek.
Love the term coinish
When you return look for the small Church foundation by the cemetery. At that time blessed ground was important and people were buried in church yards till they ran out of space. Just an idea

Nice hunt
A most excellent adventure
Hell yes go back 😂😂😂👍
Watch out for the bovine landmines LOL
Yay part 2.
You gotta try to do some lidar sometime at a sight like this Chig, see if you can map out the foundations and old roads.
Probably 15 plus years ago I cut a boundary of timber on a farm that had big mounds of dirt all in the woods mostly together and the landowner told me they were Indian grave mounds we didn’t cut nothin where they were we left it alone
Absolutely do a return, please. I so enjoy watching you videos.
Love old graveyards.
Hey I found 7 buttons all in a line! And a belt buckle at the end! And ...... wait those aren't boar tusks......
Wow big farm 😳💪
Wow what a hunt. Yes go back. In the mean time I will wonder what these people were like and who they were and what happened to them. Always a mystery to me.
Linda Green check out my channel. I have their history on there. “Written on the Land”
Very nice hunt 👍💪
My guess is that it's a 1700's settlement. With the grave yard and all the home sights.
Early to mid 1700s for sure going by the stone markers.
Run Beau Run
Not hunted out yet keep going chigg.
