Those words that Ubbe spoke when he reached out to Odin were about the same words that Ragnar spoke when he kneeled in front of Earl Haraldson outside his home in Season 1
Yeah that was sick
I noticed that to 👍
Ubbe has proven himself in this season to be a son of Ragnar
Since previous season too man
And this is the begining of Danelaw in England.
The Iceland plot lead to the greatest irony I've ever seen in a TV show lol.
@dirt man Lmao shut the fuck up you absolute loser hahah
Agree. He is most like rag in my opinion
@Zwarte Zeurpiet allthough i agree that that scene was very out of place in the context of the show but i kinda know i think why they put the scene in there is to adress the historycal bias against norsmen and that most docements about vikings were written by christian monks so even today when some people learn about the history of vikings they dont realise that the source material was written by people who hated then and wanted them seen in the worst light possible..................... or im just reading way to much into it
The show is historical fiction, I'd wager Ubbe is the equivalent of Guthrum with the same lands granted to him in East Anglia...
@@blakan1478 Agreed. Most of the history of the Norseman was reading by the people they were beating on, so of course it's going to biased against them. But they so often leave out how savage Charlemagne was against the Gauls, Celts and other such people. Or how the Saxons were basically Christian versions of the Norseman, to the point where they even had the same Pagan gods before converting to Christianity.
Judith slept with the Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit, change my mind.
Haha that is if Ecbert is the Father and Aethelwulf the Son (Athelstan the holy spirit?)
@@holysecret2 yeah, that's what i meant:D
jeez 😄
Ubbe it's the hero of season 5 ❤
Ubba! ubba! ubba! 🔥
Its always amazes me.. people gonna watch a serie about vikings and still rooting for those who makes boring peacetreaties.
Its the karma of killing athelstan :'( and if you hear closely floki whispers "helga" in the end
Little moments like when ubbe is on the floor asking for help is why I love vikings so much, when the viking music comes on it just makes such a cool feeling inside. I love this show so much.
Wardruna is powerful stuf :)
John veris ik I love it
Bro I couldnt stop laughing when you said its about time ivar " stood up to her " LMAOO
Ubbe is by far my favourite character now
Ubbe Ubbe Ubbe Ubbe Ubbe
@@kylereese968 You mean Ubba not ubbe
Crane de caillou on this show they spell it Ubbe
@@neonoires No norway ppl said Ubbe Danes ppl said Ubba
@@kylereese968 Ubba bro not ubbe watch the scene again
Ubbe's fight scene was epic. Some of the best choreography I've seen in a long time. And I'm glad to see that Ivar is coming out from under the spell of Freydis.
Amazing how they didn't put music or something to make more dramatic
Just the noise of the punches, the axes, their bodies falling into the ground. Makes you immerse more on the scene
I really loved the scene were Lagartha picked up some soil and says “Ragnar are you seeing this. This is our dream”!
It made me tear up. I like that he is so present, in their minds. And ours.
Ahhh me too bro
My dream was like to see Travis/Ragnar just sitting on a rock in the back of the cave waiting for Floki and have them talk for like 10 minutes...That would have been insane, vision of Ragnar advising Floki...
TheMinarus that would’ve been EPIC bro. We might still see a vision of him next episode when Floki gets knock out by rock.
That's a pretty f* great idea! That would be a nice farewell to Floki, and we get to see Ragnar again.
Got chills reading that. Imagine if the show gave us that!
@@elisabethlarsen4282 I got chills imagining it...Just someone in the shadows way in the back of the cave, and thought we never expected it wasn't teased or anything we just see old Ragnar stepping into the light and speaks to Floki trying to make sense of what happened in Iceland with his settlement, and at that point the cave could have caved in and it would be a fair send off for Floki who goes happily in the company of Ragnar, i think that would have been the ultimate thing for this ep, and it would have brought SO MUCH sense to the actual title "What Happens in the cave"
& if you look at Travis's Instagram, he has his old Ragnar beard back!
I know he has a new show in the pipe line, but they could or maybe, they already have filmed Floki's scenes in that cave where Ragnar comes to him!
But with it being the final season, he has to come back in some way. Athelstan came back to see Ragnar & Egbert!
So who knows!
Historically, the Christians did beat the Vikings to Iceland.
Ragnar promises, Ubba delivers! I understand him turning again to the Old gods, but honestly i would have liked him being a christian. Great episode. I'm constantly feeling how much more they could have used Gustaf, he truly is a fantastic actor. Poor Floki.
Odin is badass!
Oh I'm so glad he went back to the Norse god's, didn't like him being Christian tbh though It made sense at the time for the land
Fun fact: both of Winnick's brothers are in this episode. One of them being the other danish King. :)
Who's the other?
that ending with Floki was pure comedy, hysterical LOL
Athelstan was laughing 😂
He dead right?
Doesn't look good. Frickin Volcanoe blew with him in it. He seemed to be gasping for air then stopped. Last words "Helga". Going to see his wife.
Ubbe is absolutely the king of s5b
Ubbe! Ubbe! Ubbe! Ubbe! Ubbe!
If Floki's actually dead, I don't know what I'm going to do! I'm getting sick of these deaths that come out of nowhere like Siguard and my boy Aethelwulf
I think Floki cried on that cave because he thought he was destined to be there, supposedly the land of the viking gods, but it turned out that it was ruled by the cristian god and that destroyed him.
when you kept saying “stood up for himself” i died laughing omg 😭😂so terrible
I thought Flocki, at the end of his journey, would have a vision that would make him realize he is needed back in Kattegat. What he found instead leaves me lost about where the character goes from here.
It's great that Ragnar's dream of a peaceful Viking settlement has been achieved. But, at the same time, it seems too good to be true. I fear the settlement will come to a tragic end at some point like the last one.
@Bill The Bull Gates Ivar will be dead by the end of the episode.
@Bill The Bull Gates we had the crazy Ivar story arch since season 4. His character had run its course and is starting to get boring.
Best reaction for this episode out of all the reactors, subbed for this episode.
I really hope that you'll make 2 parts for the next episode :( The battle will be epic.
UBBE! UBBE! UBBE! I also liked how they had Magnus call out to Jesus in his time of fear and Ubbe call out to Odin when he needed help. I think Magnus is trying too hard to be Viking and Ubbe needed to be reminded that he’s Viking. I laughed when Floki saw the cross, it reminded me of Athelstan for some reason so it was hilarious to me.
Amazing reaction, I cant wait to see your reaction next week.
Keep up the good work.
21:25 does lagertha even know Alfred is Athelstan's son?
No she does not. There is no way she could unless the Gods told her, and the show is VERY specific about when the Gods give people visions.. Nothing like that has shown up for Lagertha.
My boy Hvitserk about to snap in this upcoming battle
His a bit of a bitch to bbe honest
@@jackj9816
How ?
Guardian Of Torah in battle he acts all crazy and badass but all I have seen him do is kill unarmed people rape a nun and almost get killed by a saxon only to be saved by a Viking and he was ivars bitch for a long time to
Floki just found the holy grail ^^
And then threw it away like a piece of shit HAHAAH And that epic Floki laugh lmao
LOL, wouldn't that be something!
of course that's the first thing I thought of too, lol
I totally agree on your view of religion.
Just want to comment about my gratitude to you, I love your work and keep it up man !
Torvi is looking amazing in this episode! Ubbe is the next scarface lmao
Probably the only reaction channel I watch mainly because you actually have real and genuine reactions. Keep up the awesome work👍🏼. Also 15:46 😂
Man, how powerful was that! Ubbe renounced, and technically is now the King of the Black Danes! Judith is finally gone! Björn and Harold tapping arms for a break, Floki finding out his land of the Gods had Chritians there long before he found it! Can't wait for next week, keep up the great work Brother!
Yes sith love your reactions to vikings keep up the good videos man
👍
Haven’t even watched it yet but I know I’m gonna love your reaction. Lots of love to you mate 🥰
I lost count at the amount of times this episode had shivers running up and down my spine, but when Ubbe got laid out and Wardruna started playing as he prayed to Odin... AMAZING!
Awesome reaction as always, SiTH FuRioN!
I loved your spiritual religious concept it's so beautiful and universal it relates to all of us and yes its bigger than we can even grasp
"It's about time Ivar stood up for himself, well not literally." Dude I LOL'd hard for 5 minutes. That was funny.
ur really enjoyable to watch, keep up the good stuff!
However is interesting how the characters are constantly switching sides. For example Bjorn was an enemy to Hvitserk and Harald in the past battle and now they are on the same side. I find this really cool! Speaking of Harald and Bjorn, I would really like them have a talk about Halfdan, they were both close to him.
Well, I feel that Harald might not want to hear about Björn being close to Halfdan, since it was that whole "Björn saved my life", that led Halfdan to fight on the enemy side (from Haralds perspective) and Harald eventually killing him. I think Harald blames Björn a bit for that. I hope they don't talk about Astrid at least, and that Björn slept with her. That would probably anger Harald.
“It’s about time he stud up”
....
“Not like that”
🤣🤣
Yes, my main man sith. Good video lad
Too bad we lose King Frodo that early. He is fking badass.
Coding in Flow yea its sad ubba didnt unleash him on Alfred
he *looks like a fking badass
Those Ivar 'stepping up' jokes cracked me up!
If you're remembering the first raid that Floki went on in lindisfarne he picked up a goblet and drank from it and spat it out in front of a cross. Just sayin
It was 'Sanguinis Christi' that he spat out. The people in the church watching believed him to have commited grave sacrilege, hence their immediate reaction.
the floki scene and bjorn fight were the best scenes this season...skarsgards acting was on point...and the bjorn moment was viking culture in a nutshell lol
the involuntary puns man, legendary xD
Irish Monks known as the Papar were known to travel to Iceland before Norsemen had habited there which is shown in this episode.
I guess Athelstan is having the last laugh but it’s sad to see Floki the way he is. I also see it as a punishment lol.
Sitttthhhhh finally, I'm waiting all day xd
I think when Floki found the cross, it means that, the old world is comming to a end. I felt so bad for him when he Saw that cross!!
Almost dying at you trying to find a metaphor for Ivar without making a leg joke
OMG jus watched the finale and it was amazing, don’t expect the unexpected is all I have to say, jus wow
"This is our dream" No other show hits me in the feels like Vikings does. I need to make Floki's laugh my ringtone. lol So hyped for the finale!
King Frodo is so tall, but I'm with Ubbe...
They left everything to the last episode. I don't sure 40 minutes enough for this.
Selim Sert it’ll probably be longer
I hope so but ı don't think so
Selim Sert it should be it is the season finale but idk
Selim Sert I cant remember if they did it with the other ones
They never did..
I don't want to accept that there is only 1 more episode of this season
I so badly dont want this season to end.. im binge watching your reactions starting from season 1
29:10 👏👏👏👏👏👍🏻👍🏻🙌🙌🙌 We have the same mindset. Some people even get mad at me when I tell them what I think about religion. They tell me “No, this is the real god” no man, I respect your opinion now respect mine. WELL SAID..
Same
In brazil there is a famous comedy channel called "Porta dos Fundos" and they made a video called "Deus" (God). In the video, a christian woman arrives in heaven after her death and came across with the "real god": a god from old polynesia 😂😂😂, and he punishes her from believing on the wrong god her entire life.
There is no true god, no real god. There is something we can't compreend, and each people tries to understand in their way.
Dying to see your reaction to the final episode!!
May Perun be with you dear SithFurion !
"i'm viking i'm viking" oh shut up
😂😂😂😂😂 i'm dying
Ubbe (back in season 4) was one of the few who was actually willing to fight/duel Ragnar (or take his head) for the throne. "Who wants to be king?"
He finally had the duel he always wanted. But has his dream been fulfilled already? What kingdom shall he reign over?
Is that the HOLY FUCKING GRAIL??
Have you seen Lost and Prison Break? If you haven’t you should definitely react to them they’re both amazing!!❤️
Hey there. Just wanted to say I really love how you present Vikings. I have a genuine question. What does Sithfurion mean or does it have a meaning ?
Thanks a lot for the videos once again 😊
Peace and Blessings 💖
Sith - is from StarWars
Furion - is from the Riddick movies, it's the name of his Race.
I picked up the name/spelling when I first heard it. But they've changed the spelling over the years from Furion to Furyan!
I've had this name for about 15 years lol my old original Xbox tag was 'SithFurionLord' lol
@@SiTHFuRioN Hi thank you for your reply. I thought it might have been related to Star Wars. It's interesting. Anyways, good work, keep it up
Peace and Blessings
Floki gonna be the next seer
Wow!! Viking getting better and better....
VIKINGS IS GREAT AGAIN!!!!!
KYLE REESE Vikings is always great stfu
I believe floki discovered where the Irish monks had been before they left Iceland before or during the time the Vikings came. There is little evidence to back it up besides writing that says Irish monks went and left trinkets and texts there.
You just made Floki into Cain and Athelstan into Abel!!! Mind blown!!!
Ubbe ✊ and if that's Floki's death then I barely felt anything, which is kinda ridiculous
LOVE YOUR REACTIONS
The moment Floki found the stone cross and the old cup I instantly though 'damn, looks like Floki found the Holy Grail'.
Yet another great video. Thanks!!!!
I've read somewhere that it's possible that Irish monks discovered Iceland earlier than vikings
I feel like alot of reactions ive watched have missed the point of the floki scene. Sithurion got the jist but i think the point is he believed the whole time it was the viking gods that he felt there, and through all the shit that happened he thought the gods had cursed and abandoned him and then when he see's the cross he realises that land is christian land and thats why everything fucked up because the religious presence he actually felt was christian. this whole time he felt the presence of christ, not Odin, and realising that drove him mad.
I was hoping Hirst would show this bit of history, where the people who settled Iceland before the Vikings were Irish Christian Monks, but I wasn't sure how they'd show it. I really like how they did it. Poor ol' Floki.
Judith was dying of cancer. Were you expecting her death was going to be some massive sword fight or something? That's how people die of cancer. And it's not bullshit.
Ugh, this is gonna' be a long comment, just need to get stuff out.
First - Who tf would dislike a SithFurion Vikings reaction, I mean, did those people fall over, and accidentally hit the dislike button? Only reasonable explanation.
Second - This episode was intense, and had some kind of the old Vikings vibe about it, it was so great. Every scene with Ubbe was mint, in my opinion, he's always been one of the favorites, but this episode just digivolved him into THE Ubbe, he will be magnificent in season 6!!
Third - Flokes, man. When I saw the cross in the cave, I ...... felt so, so bad for him, I thought of Aethelstan, and the extreme irony.. :(
Quality episode! The promo for the finale is a minute long sneak peak, but I totally understand you going in blind, the hype is crazy!! Cant wait for next week!!
Loki has learned to stand on his own, and will turn 1 year in two weeks, so little joys everywhere, it feels good to have something to look forward to!
Have a great weekend, Sith ✊
wow, 1 already lol time goes by real quick! I hope you all are well!
Elisabeth Larsen I know I’m late as hell but digivolve 😀
Ubbes fight was freakin awesome. I thought the games of thrones had some good 1v1 duels but this wins out as the best one for me
Yes Magnus is anoying! But hé is been true alot. King Ecbert stole his Kingdom Mercia, Judith killed his mother, hé was raised as Ragnars son. And when he thought he was finaly gonna meet his famous father, Ragnar told him your not my son. Then hé got kicked out of the only house that he knows, without money or food, while hé is the rightfull heir of Mercia.
your reactions are fucking great man!! i always enjoy them thoroughly and we think very much alike and you make me fucking laugh.. most reactors are bland and lame and have no character but not you my friend are not like any other..keep doing what youre doing !! the last kingdom is a good show to watch after this and then right around the corner on sunday april 14th game of Thrones season 8 arrives !! im thinking the cross that Floki found was from the Romans or Greeks(or who the fuck knows but that shit was INSANE)
I loved the thoughts about Floki and religion in general...very interesting! I think Floki is truly resembling Ragnar's path of life since Ragnar lost faith in the end and it seems Floki is about to do the same.
She wanted Ivar to be loved not feared, yet he chose fear. Point being he did what he wanted
I think the volcano is going to erupt, Floki will be safe in the cave and post eruption the soil will be fertile. Perhaps Floki will build something on it, or he might just give up on that cursed place that hurt him so much and go back to the other Vikings
This ubbe and Vikings is slowly linking into the last kingdom tv series.
I think ivers kid will grow to be the new seer. I believe his child lives. Deformity is the mark of the gods.
What if Floki comes out from the cave completely burned and disfigured? Perhaps he might decide to return to Kattegat and finally become the new Seer!
Don’t forget last time floki was in a cave he was at hangin on cross rope and I think he remembers that in this moment
I was just thinking... U and Carly went hard with the VIKING reactions. It'll be AWESOME to see a Sith & Carly Viking reactions Collab!!
Just watched the season finale, BAD ASS! So happy. Lastly, I think Floki might be gone... One give away for me is the starting credit, Gustaf Skarsgard's name is no longer there :( *Off topic, your giggle gives me Floki vibes! haha love it
He _might_ be gone. I wept for him. But I really, really hope he found a way out of there. I hope that his whisper to Helga made her take Ragnar, Odin and all the gods with her to the gates of Valhalla, telling Floki it wasn't his time yet. Gustaf Skarsgård's name not being starting credits just means that he wasn't in that episode. For instance, if you check the starting credits for episode 17, season 5 ("The Most Terrible Thing"), Kathryn Winnick's name isn't there, since Lagertha wasn't in that episode. So there is still hope.
@@Asa...S I hope it's the case too! I love Floki. Such a beautiful character and his journey has been so amazing. I remember all the different emotions he made me feel. Loving him, hating him to loving him again! I can't even imagine anyone else embodying Floki like Gustav did. As for the credits, I hope that's the case. Cause I remember it took sometime to take Travis Fimmel's name out (if I'm not mistaken). Ahh the anxiety!
I am waiting for the 19!!! Just i wanted to say that i love your vidéo men and i like your job for to do this !! And i know that Travis Fimmel have saw your video when you comment « the choice » i’ve red that travis loved this video when you comment this
please react to the last kingdom :) love your reactions!
I truly believe that Freydis believes every word she says and that’s why I can’t be mad at her. She really believes that Ivar is a god and lying to him about the baby was wrong but it was for the benefit for both of them.
I totally hope that Bjorn shows up to Ivar and announces that he found another son of Ragnar and his name is "Magnus", and Ivar just responds, "what the fuck is a magnus?"
i think that the title relates to the allegory of the cave coz the episode was focusing a lot on faith as you said
Floki thought he had found Asgard. Guess he was wrong
Here we go!
Alfred dose have a son and a daughter and she became sort of a warrior Queen that killed a lot of danes
9:55 hands down Torvi's best moment on the show. That was boss.
