I'd probably recommend either skinny or froggy - they are the easiest to pull off fancy plays and daring escapes so you can live longer even without a teammate. Mechanically, I think zook, chuck or sashimi are probably the 3 easiest characters to pick up :D
@@iantrolington6594 Yeah... The game I previously played had some $1k prize tournaments sponsored by the community, so it's possible. But considering the game is purely indie devs using money from themselves to make a game, it'll be tough for them to bring out big cash prizes :(.

Likely. Once the game comes out and custom games are allowed, I'm sure the community would start a lot of tournaments themselves :).
