Congrats on the album! Band-Maid delivers such quality music it is not surprising that fans and reviewers with experience/knowledge are appreciated. What a group of musicians.
Band-Maid’s music is like great films that respect your intelligence and reward you for paying attention and repeated viewings.
That they can hold such high standards for their work, and still be so prolific and tour so much is really miraculous.
I'm saying this to every reactor I encounter on UA-cam. MISA and Akane are the most intuitively brilliant "rhythm section" in rock and roll.
My favorite Band-Maid song not written by Kanami, except for 'Thrill'.
Congrats on your gift album. I have every cd and dvd that Band Maid has put out with the exception of Matador, and have had the honor of seeing them perform live twice. And tons of merchandise. They are without a doubt the greatest rock/hard rock band in the world. Great reaction by the way.

The Non-Fiction Days use to be their go-to closer. When the song ended, the Maids would give Miku her few seconds to say goodbye, bow, and then all quickly walk off stage. The crowd felt like they'd been run over by a speeding freight train of awesomeness. It all felt so good and the fans wanted more! But they were leaving... until next time! Thx, John!

What a gift! Fantastic. And “The non-fiction days” remains one of my top ten Band Maid songs. The “Hoobastank” guitar effect, the chorus, the way it hits you like a heavyweight, the arrangement, the solo…and that bass run by MISA heading into the second prechorus. Love it 💕
I’m glad you finally got caught up on the non-fiction days. Most bands can only hope to have just one song that is this exciting. AKANE is simply brutal. And what a set of pipes on this early SAIKI. It’s so interesting how her voice has changed since then.
It didn't look like it in the video, but the windswept beach to Maids shot the scenes on was brutally cold. Between takes, they had to don heavy full length winter coats. These five young women are so professional and are pure troopers in getting their music out, no matter what it takes.
Glad you enjoyed the album but don't expect me to get you the rest of the albums 🤪and the first song *Alone* that they wrote on their own.

Never crossed my mind. But, now that you mention it.... Truly, I think you can see how blown away I was by your gift. Vinyl is my first love but Social Security only allows for so much "splurging". But, now that you've kick started me, This will be the first of all of Band-Maid's albums and will hold a special place on my shelf and in my heart. Thank you so very much!!
The vinyl pressings were new production runs. Intended as collector's items as those albums did not have vinyl editions initially. I also consider these songs, still not band written, as the start of the Band Maid style.
It's a straight ahead rocker done properly!!!!!! Kanami is absolutely brilliant as is the entire band!
Madiacs- what can we say. They are the best. Those open bass notes from Misa- fantastic. Yes- Akane went double time in the middle of that break down.

@@RockCandy-ix3nn it still is i have used Yamaha stereo equipment most of my life i have a 200 watt per channel amp i got in 1994 it still sounds better then anything out today for equivalent cost they do not make them any more only receivers

Yes, you can already hear the Band-Maid sound emerging. Apparently Akane narrowly missed being singed by the pyro. What artists will do for their art....
BAND MAID vinyl ? i know that LOVEBITES has done a couple but did not know about this. i still have a working turntable - do you need one ? brand new maid - great cd that is in my collection. along with every other one !

Sadly, only Brand New Maid, and Just bring It are still available without paying through the nose on the reseller market. They originally released Conqueror, World Domination, and Unseen World too. Pray for another pressing

The first album (CD) I purchased was “Brand New MAID”. The eighth and final song is called “alone,” and it was the first song written and recorded by BAND-MAID. Until then, all of the songs had been written by outsiders, as the management did not give us the OK. ”KANMI” felt like falling apart, but ”SAIKI” encouraged him to write many songs. I Think，SAIKI must have had foresight. As you may know, ”KANAMI” is a big fan of ”SAIKI”. ”KANAMI” must have been very encouraged. I think this album is a milestone for BAND-MAID.
