Today we have Battle of Tier 6 USSR tank destroyers. On 1 side we have tech tree tank SU-100 against premium tank from same nation SU-100y. Premium version has bigger 130mm gun with 460 alpha (530 alpha on premium AP), tech tree has only 400 alpha damage. But Tech tree one is faster and has much better camo values than SU-100Y

Fun fact for those who didn’t know: the SU-100Y fires gold shell in order to deal more damage per shot than using standard ammunition, and u don’t need to pay gold in order to load gold shell
tankenstein has it also, becuase it has gun from su100y

The SU100Y is my favorite tank destroyer I have tried others like the SU152 Hetzer and AT2 but I all ways come back to the SU100Y

- smaller profile
- bigger gun mantlet
- better mobility
SU100y:
- is premium
- more fun to play if you like big guns
- especial premium ammo does more damage
- can ram light tanks

ah yes, the su-100 aka T6 ammorack magnet.
i once clutched a 1v3 against two of these (the 3rd tank is a t-34-85 that doesn't have know what flanking is) in my own su-100 by ammoracking both of them. 2 ammo racks, in one game.

I have both, it depends on the player, but since the SU - 100 is smaller, you can hide better, on the SU - 100 Y instead, u have a better gun, but big hull. they're both fun to play and honestly I can't really say I like one less

My first tier 6 was SU-100Y which I got from a Huge Container. Half a year later and I got the SU-122-44 also from the Huge Container. My brother who played WOT longer than me, didn't got any premium tanks from containers

I don't care what anyone thinks. I love them both. SU-100 and 100Y. 100mm D-2-5S vs 130mm B-13-S2, both hit pretty hard. Except the fact the 100Y is like a big metal sweat box. And that means less camo values.
Fact: use the 100mm gun for high DPM
The Y in SU-100Y stand for Y would you make this tank

Only one Su100y was bulit in order to field a larger gun to fight heavier armor German tanks. The only Su100y bulit only saw combat during the defense if Moscow

If I really have to choose just one for random battle, I will pick SU-100. It has better concealment, fair armor to harass MT(don’t mean to bounce like HT). It’s not impossible to form a frontline with allies.
Of course SU-100Y can make significant changes to a game by its great damage. But the performance really relies on ally who can bait enemy attentions.

ok the SU-100 is literally like the ammobar tank, everytime i strap up battle with my KV-1S, i straight up 100% Ammorack every SU-100 (Cuz I know where is the ammorack located).

pc user,easy when u playing wotb with pc hurmm
I mean if you're playing on phone you can turn same control mode on in settings and you'll never be in a battle with PC players. I play both, but it's just much easier to record and edit with PC
