I hadn’t thought to use a stamping block to make straight lines. Great idea. I’m thinking of finally ordering some of your stamps for my May 71st birthday. I can’t think of a better gift for myself. Enjoy your weekend, Asia.
Cheryl, 71st anniversairy? Wow, amazing!!! In France there is this tradition that we do not wish happy B'day in advance, but if you decide to order sth from my shop, please let me know that is you and it is your B'day gift, I wouldn't like to miss the opportunity to send you some B'day cheer! Big hugs! xx
I have a large set of Brusho's and havent really known what to do with them. This is fabulous. I was gifted a big bag of rubber stamps recently too! Now i have ideas for both! Your pic is gorgeous!! Thanks for sharing!🥰
I have never used my brushes for stamping, but will definitely give this a try after watching this. Also the stamp block for the lines was useful to. Loved this piece of art x
You can use watercolors too. That is basically what they are in that form and the form you are using. Just think, you can go to "the dreaded dollar tree" as artist reference it and pick up the cheapest set of watercolors and there you have "your inks". The art supply world is not very nice to artists. Most supplies cost pennies to make and they turn around and charge hundreds. There is not one supply you can't diy including paint. That is a fact.
Always a work of art indeed! You inspired me to try these techniques you use and to explore them more! And this time I saw how you used your acrylic block also as a stamp. Never thought of using it like that! Also I'm going to use my Brusho's, Lindy's and other pigment powders even more! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful art! ❤❤❤ From Hilde, Belgium
Thank you so much Alyson! ❤️ It is, it just takes practice to know how much water you can add and what stamps are the best ;) I've been practicing this since I started designing for Lindys, and that means at least 7 years :) 😘😘😘
As far as I know it is not, it's just a pigment powder. Mica powder add shine to the paints, but Brushos are matte in color and there si no shine to them. Hope that helps!
Oh, that's a pity... It happens a lot with deliveries to Netherlands and the pick up points are so hard to find. Usually the postal codes are different for pick up points and I have to go through google maps with every single order from Netherlands to choose the pick up point the closest to the customer:) And then quite often they are saturated. Hopefully you'lle get it soon :)
Yes, exactly! Not too much water though- if you want to stamp it well, you need to use only a little bit of water, enough to dillute, but not enough to run from the stamp :) Thank you! xx
Can you please tell me what book the botanicals are from? I have the black and white garden, but I can’t find them in there. This spread is stunning Asia! I love the colors, botanicals and your stamp technique ❤❤❤
Dear Nathalie, I think they are again from my thank you cards :) I am not sure though and I can't check that out since I am at my mum's. There is a chance I send them to you in the parcel ;) You still didn't get it? Big hugs and I promise I check that out once I am at home :) xx
You can do what is best for you :) I prefer to buy powder paints than inks as they are more versatile, but you can buy (or not) whatever you feel like. That's the beauty- we can do whatever we want, make videos we want and commenting on them the way we want ;)

Dear Hilde, thank you so much for your beautiful comment! Enjoy powder stamping! Big hugs!
Love how you use the side of your acrylic block.
Thank you Diana! xx
You really are a “master stamper” it is its own form of art, and you make it look easy. But it isn’t 😆 ❤
Thank you so much Alyson! ❤️ It is, it just takes practice to know how much water you can add and what stamps are the best ;) I've been practicing this since I started designing for Lindys, and that means at least 7 years :) 😘😘😘
I love your unique stamping methods also.
Thank you Lynn! xx
Beautiful page. I love how you built up all the layers of stamping. I've used brushos this way, but had forgotten as it was a few years ago. 😊
Thank you :) I am also regularly forgetting techniques, there are too many, lol! Hugs! xx
Those stamps are awesome ❤

@@LemonCreationART welcome 🤗
Thanks for the inspiration! Beautiful page. Are Brushos similar to Magicals? Thanks so much for sharing your process. ❤
Thank you Joyce! Yes, they are very similar, but only to Flat Magicals (they have no mica powder in them, at least not the ones I have) xx
Very nice ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you! x
Very cool❤
Thank you Jill! x
Fantástico ❤❤❤❤
Thank you! xx
Love the colours and stamps, quick question is brushos a mico powder?
As far as I know it is not, it's just a pigment powder. Mica powder add shine to the paints, but Brushos are matte in color and there si no shine to them. Hope that helps!
Aha!! The thank you cards. The parcel is delayed; the pick up point was not available. I’m hoping I can pick it up today ❤

Are you just mixing the powder with water? These are gorgeous!
Yes, exactly! Not too much water though- if you want to stamp it well, you need to use only a little bit of water, enough to dillute, but not enough to run from the stamp :) Thank you! xx
Beautiful ❤

What binder did you use or do those powders come with one?
I do not use a binder :) If i was to add water to the page, it would react with it, but I won't, so I don't use anything like a binders in my work.

Well of course you don't have to buy colored inks.... BUT you would still need to buy the Brushos!!??!!
You can do what is best for you :) I prefer to buy powder paints than inks as they are more versatile, but you can buy (or not) whatever you feel like. That's the beauty- we can do whatever we want, make videos we want and commenting on them the way we want ;)
