So many forgotten black heroes
Learned some new names. Thanks!
This was a GREAT video. Thank you for sharing these amazing people with us.
Wow... as far as I can remember, I've only heard of Ida B Wells and Sojourner Truth. That is sad, but glad you informed me of these other great heroes! Too many, I'm sure, went unnamed and unrecognized, but I give thanks and honor for them all! 💖

Amen @ we all must respond to the call of God in our lifetime, not others - Dr. King
We can NEVER get enough of learning about our history that exudes #blackexcellence

Hi I'm new
Thank you very much for the lesson much respect! !
Thanks very much. These are great ones, all five. Benjamin Mays, Ida B. Wells-Barnett, Robert Smalls, Sojourner Truth, Granville T. Woods. That is a new pronunciation for Sojourner. Also Akron, Ohio. It's all fine, however. Important to learn of these heroes.
Great job!!! Using this for my middle school students during black history month.

I remember attending school and only learning about Martin Luther King Jr and Rosa Parks and I always told myself why didn't they teach more for Black History Month well as I got older I found out why. love this video wish they would have taught me more things like this in school.
Happy to see this video during Black History Month. It wasn't going so well up until now smh. Don't know if I'd call Sojourner "forgotten", but glad she's getting the credit she deserves.

THOMAS SOWELL - Walter Williams - Mike Tyson - Clarence Thomas - Candace Owens
I've heard of Ida B. Wells-Barnett, Robert Smalls, and Sojourner Truth.
There are other Black heroes most folks don't know about: Paul Revere Williams, Cecil Murray, Vernon Jordan, Donald L. Hollowell, Martin R. Delaney, Phillis Wheatley, Buddy Bolden, et cetera.
You should do another video about lesser-known Black heroes. But this video is great!
