She's a true inspiration not profession wise only but also being courageous, confident, well versed in her thoughts and for being emotional strong as well.
Candid & refreshing interview! Thank you for this intelligent introduction to a new face of Pakistani policing. This deeply committed lady police officer is exactly what Pakistan needs more of to become strong ,progressive , competent & clean (literally & corruption free) -in character, in ambition, in appearance & in practice.
I swear I never thought we could have such podcasts in Pakistan. I will definitely support such people. Because we need real people on such podcasts who can come and talk about real things that happen in the country. Every aspect of their lives are so relatable for us.
Honestly hats off to Muzamil for such an amazing PODCAST. Amna Baig is a true gem and an inspiration for all of us. I'm so glad to see such a dedicated police officer( THE REAL WONDER WOMAN)
I have watched numerous speeches and talks but nothing has ever hit home like this one. I can second all that she is saying, women would love to have a police officer like you to report to. This video gives me hope and puts me at ease especially after the recent Noor Makhdoom case. I think she is also one of the investigating officers for the case, so glad to know the case is in good hands :) Sending lots of love and prayers ur way! ❤❤❤

Her enthusiasm and passion for her work are certainly incredible. Such women are true representations of a nation. Proud of you ma'am. I wish one day I will achieve my objective In Shaa Allah. Thank you, Muzammil Sir for providing this valuable platform to broaden our awareness and rationale. 🙏
She is really an inspirational person. We need more woman officers in Police force. Coming from public school system, one can see how much hard work she must have put in to reach at this level and continue to do so in her career. More power to you Madam.

Contrary to the seriousness and morbidity of her job, her personality is so positive and uplifting. An insightful podcast, good job muzammil on trying to bridge the gap between police service and civilians through awareness.
People can be so different in real life and see them on social media, I follow her on twitter and before watching this podcast I had a very different perspective of her. Great personality (Y)
Muzamil is a natural host. That's what makes these podcasts so interesting. The conversation flowed so naturally without him being condescending or rude (like so many anchors/hosts). Amna Baig is a huge inspiration to all (women AND men). It was really humbling to see her very down-to-earth attitude and background. The police really is short of facilities and resources - which many people take as them being lazy and unprofessional. However, they are real people who often risk their lives and serve 12-14 hours on a regular basis. Their mental health is as important as ours. Love the new initiatives such as the "Eagle Units" and gender-protection helpline. Totally agree with what she said about women coming forward when there is a lady police officer. I have seen this in action in one of Karachi's police stations which had a lady SHO.
She gave me so much perspective and hope for a positive Pakistan 💜 Allot of my ideas will be influenced by her. We need more people like Muzamil also who bring such great good people and do so much effort
You are such an inspiration Amna, especially when you mentioned about why we say that our fathers are our hero's only, why not our mothers. That took my heart, you are so right, i must say for me my mom is my inspiration and i am growing to be like her, as she has been serving this nation as a Doctor since more than 40 yrs now, when women could not be more than just housewives, she served and saved lives out there.. and i hope you would be an inspiration not only for your kids but for all of us girls. Hats off to Muzammil for bringing such amazing conversations for us 😊
Gratitude to Muzamil for an incredible episode with ASP Amna Baig. It demonstrates her bravery, self-sacrifices, confidence and fortitude. She is a real inspiration to all young girls. More power to you👏👏👏👏
Congratulations Muzamil, It is very good to know that we have a fully functional Gender Protection Unit in Islamabad. It is important to designate the details of such powerful Units through publication /broadcast as public service massages on different channel's and print media as well. The guest in ur program is right that there is a need of raising public awareness through different platforms.

You’re doing a great job, Muzamil. More power to you. You’re not only creating an informative/educational environment but you’re also helping out the youth greatly.
Really enjoy your podcasts. It was a pleasure hearing about the story of Amna and it’s so refreshing to know we have such dynamic baureocrats working in police department.
I'm loving the series. The conception of police is very bad in the eyes of majority of Pakistanis. Plz invite more and more police officers to raise awareness.
Love this sm. Thank you can't wait to watch more podcasts of talented and amazing people of our country its sad that your channel, you and these people are so underrated
Thanks again Muzamil for a great vlog. Lovely, intelligent, very well aware guest. My 2 cents: 1 here in the USA we had a huge problem with domestic violence years ago where under the law, the woman was considered aan's property. So if a man beat her to the last thread of life and somehow she managed to escape, he would file a complaint and she would be dragged even by her hair, even across state lines and brought back to that man by the police! Fast forward about 50-60 years and now progressively they have domestic violence laws in place where even if a neighbor complained about a fight between husband and wife or even partners, the cops will show up and regardless of denials or not filing a complain, the cops would take each of them in different corners of the house and 2 separate officers would question each one of them to get the details but at the end, they have to take one person outside the home and it's generally the man and tell him to go stay the night somewhere else. Purpose of this is to diffuse the tension st home and give the battered person any times the woman to figure things out etc... 2. Kids and drugs. Definately agree that we don't have awareness. And we need to bring awareness to kids as well as adults around them - parents, teachers etc. Furthered we don't have enough good role models, positive activities etc for the kid to get self worth. When a kid has self worth and high self esteem it is harder for such kids to get into drugs
I absolutely agree with that fact that financially independent women's have a contribution in the household's saying. This was actually the seerah of our Sahabiyat. They were so independent and so bold to make their own decisions. A Muslim women should have a brain and the power of intellect and argument.
Aoa muzammil. I love what you are doing and inspiring all youth to look up to such amazing personalities like Amna Baig. I just want to know for girls like me, who get married during their graduation and want to join Pakistan forces but can’t coz of their criteria for application. Can you make an episode on all possibilities in such conditions¿
Everything was good except the comments about housewives at the start. Being a housewife and caring for your kids is a big job in itself. Not saying that pursuing a career is bad but the comment "Unhon na bhi kafi kuch zindagi ma kiya hota" is demeaning for thousands of women who invest hours in caring for their families 24/7. Obviously, Miss Amna's mother's presence at home played a big role in her upbringing and where she is today.
But getting stuck to the idea of housewives is what she denies. which is true. Her mother has also the right to explore her avenues and get out of the box. Claiming that they (housewives) are caring is just a lame excuse for a guilty mind and does not justify its legitimacy and validity. To a few, it may be good to be housewives because they have been told, nurtured and treated in the way that only being 'housewives' appears to be an option. They have every right to get out of their traditional roles and magnify their scope. Be part of the larger chunk of the society that matters to them and their generation: decision-making processes in the upper echelons of politics, economics and society.
