Starting next year when my grandson is older, I'm going to leave him "nice" gifts inside the book.
The naughty a nice book, after you put foil on it. You could put a shadow box images with fairy light and stand it up and prop open.

Wow! I really like this. I bought some “book” boxes at dollar tree that I used for Halloween decorations…I’m going to use the template you included and rewrap those boxes and use them to put my Christmas cookies into for gifts.. Thanks Michael!

I actually have one that looks like a dr. Suess book around here. Use it for nothing but pens and pencils at the moment. Maybe I will redo it so I can try this.
Finally had time to watch this one today. Cool idea but mainly wanted to ask if you are ok @Mr. Craft Pants? Saw that you had a bad storm go through so hoping you and your family and friends are okay. Also I wanted to take the time to tell you, because I also saw that you were considering never doing the boxes again due to the sale day comments but also all the complaining posts that I have seen, to please not let people that are armchair trolls to destroy the enjoyment and happiness you get from doing these boxes for your followers. You gained a lot of followers during these last ones and yes, there are always going to be people out there that write crap in the comments. You need to try to ignore those ones that make you feel bad, angry or sad. I know that is hard to do sometimes but if you don't try to do this you will lose your happiness. The internet is a bad place in the last few years and people tend to think they can be rude and act entitled without repercussions so they make snide comments. Don't let them get to you because then they have won. Life is way too short. Brush those people out of your life if need be or just hide or remove their posts. This is something you can do. Basically if someone did that to your face in your home you would never allow that and you would not hang out with that person. Do the same on your pages. You can tell them in your rules that this will now be your policy too.
