These videos are so much fun. I can't wait until I get fit enough to try them all! I have been working on standing on one leg, lifting my toes and heels, tiny lunges, etc. It's all worth it so someday I, too, can be funky.
I need to challenge my balance more often. I particularly like the kicking videos since I am not good at them (at the time of typing). Hopefully that changes. I've been listening to _Fingazz_ and _Cool Million_ recently. _Fingazz_ does funky remixes (that are good for locking + slow skating) and I'm pretty sure you know _Cool Million._
Here's a video I made showing my shortcut forwards -> backwards transition: ua-cam.com/video/Gm5uEA17qx4/v-deo.html Sideways skating is the best transition IMO, but I'm not that good at it yet. XD
BFunkphenomenon it seems like no matter how hard I try or how many times I practice, I really struggle doing front>back transitions. It’s like my torso and feet are always fighting over who should lead 😩😅. When I focus on rotating my torso first, I fall over my feet. When I focus on leading with my feet, my body weight sinks into my front boot and my hips freeze as i try “close the gate.” I also lose all of my skating momentum when I successfully do one. Any tips on proper body mechanics and body weight distribution?
