- The first third-party game is now available in the Wargaming Game Center - Steel Division 2, a historical real-time strategy game.
The action takes place in 1944 during one of the key battles of World War II - Operation Bagration.
The player commands an entire army that includes tanks, infantry, artillery (including anti-air guns), and aviation. There are more than 600 units in the game belonging to different nations (USSR, Germany, the USA, and others), and 25 maps replicating historical topography.

It looks great but the scale of battles is massive. This is like someone telling you that you are playing tomorrow for the England Cricket team, when you have previously only watched Cricket on TV. It would probably be hard enough to play a single tank for the first time. I have never flown one of these planes and have never fired with one of those units at another unit, I have never checked the range of a radio or the range of fire of a gun, or the camo value of anything, how can I be expected to play with three battalions in my first battle? Why does the scale of battles have to be so vast off the bat? In Total War games (Creative Assembly) you can actually fight test battles of a single cannon against a single infantry unit, or a single archer unit against some other unit, you are not thrown straight into battles between hundreds/thousands of men with no idea of what each unit can do do.

WG didn't made it, but they did made RTS game called 'Order of War", which basically WoT + Infantry, also there is many tank model and soundtrack which later will be re-uesed when they made WoT. If you like COH or MoW style RTS, it worth to give a try.

Hi wargaming im here to ask one thing, that is I miss one off your games and that is "Total War Arena" i liked to play alot, and pls tel me one thing:

I think wargaming should add in WoT some randoms mines around the battlefield so when it explodes it takes off the traks or damages other parts of the tank because its sound very realistic and in my opinion very strategic. For example your team can see on the minimap where are the mines positioned and maybe the player could strategicaly can poush him to that mine so he could eliminate him

Why can't I paint the carriage, I've tried everything but for some reason I don't see the Story i can paint the carriage. My neighbor has the same carriages and he can paint.

Men of war is better!
A lot of players wanna engaje in this game; but, the game is not very clever. You should have plyer commanding equipments like in World of Tanks; and players being generals. The generals use maps and info about troups while the troops on ground play the game in an fps mode. So you will mix 2 kind of games together.
You do not need just one general. Each general has a division of tanks for example; other command the movements of infantry; others provide the logistics to food and resources like combustible and ammunition. You can mix World of Tanks with strategy in just one game.

There are a lot of people that wanna play that tanks and artilleries and troops.
Easy as that.
@@lpanades You make no sense because your english is terrible but I will explain it to you. This game is not owned by WG, not made by WG and it doesn't have any input from WG. It's RTS game where you control everything and it is sold on WG center only for advertisement reasons.

There are no microtransactions in SD2. Its full 40€ RTS game made by eugen studios, completely separate from WG. WG had absolutely no input in production of this game.
