Wow, this is a surprise! Very rarely do you see a video on top FM scents. Une Rose is a stunning fragrance and I’m so glad you featured it in this list. All of these are actually incredible. Dries Van Noten is beastly and one of the most warm, creamy, and alluring sandalwood fragrances I’ve had the pleasure to wear. I still haven’t been able to test Lys M... every time I try to get a sample from them in NYC they are out. My favorites are actually Iris Poudre, L’Eau d’Hiver, and Bigarade Concentrée. Despite the performance issues of the latter two, I absolutely adore them. I guess I’m just a JC Ellena fanboy! Great video, Manny!

Was lucky enough to meet him at a Barneys event. Such a kind and genuine gentleman. My favorite is definitely Musc Ravageur. Also love Carnal Flower, POAL and L’Eau d’Hiver.

When i get rich, lord willing I will be able to grab ALL of these Frederic Malle bottles. Dope Cdg sweater by the way. Great breakdowns. My top 5 1- French Lover, 2- Musc Ravegeur, 3- Monsieur, 4- Dries Van Notten, 5- Portrait of a Lady, HM- Iris Podre

Well done informative video and long overdue. To choose five was great- it made it easy for the viewer to remember the scents. That said, I own Geranium Pour Monsieur and Carnal Flower. GPM can be worn in any season for almost any occasion . Carnal Flower is a deeper, richer, true rose scent that to me works best in the winter for a more formal occasion, though it being a floral I see no reason not to wear this in the spring. Just 1 or 2 sprays I would recommend.

Just finished watching. Great Video Bro. I’ve been wanting to try this House for a long time. Haven’t been able to but sometime next week I’ll be trying to get a sample/decant of Portrait of a Lady. One of my top 3 fragrance brands! Portrait of a Lady is stunning and I also have a love/hate relationship with Music for a While.

Frederic Malle was/is one of my favorite lines! Better before EL bought it, but I agree the new ones are still very worthy. My favorites are Angeliques sous les pluie, Musc ravageur, Dries Van Noten, Bigarade concentree.... and Bois d'orage on sig. other. Fun to see your choices! Great video as always.

Sadly so. So much of what they own now has that same "commercial musk" base...smells the same. I am sad what they have done to much of Jo Malone too. and the Aerin line is just vile. :( When EL was alive the fragrances were so good...
Great video. Just starting exploring FM not too long ago. So far I’m enjoying POAL, En Passant, Une Rose, and Carnal Flower. I really want to try Dries Van Noten before making a decision on which my first Full bottle purchase will be!

Great video as always man. I think FM is one of the most polarizing house out there. Never tried anything from them, because i just can't find then everywhere i go. Even when i went to Paris. There's so much i want to try in Paris, but idk why i just can't find them.
Just from the notes, i think Portrait of a Lady, Dries Van Noten, Carnal Flower and of course Musc Ravageur are the ones that i really interested in. Btw i've tried Meharees once, and i love the smell. So i think i would also love Musc Ravageur as many people said that they are kinda similar.
Yeah, I'm not remotely a MR fan, ugh. Everyone else seems to be though, haha. Objectively speaking, it's very good though.

One of my favorite houses fam. "Promise" has been giving me goosebumps lately.
There are quite a few in the collection that are easily forgettable. Solid picks though. Surprised you don't care for skanky Musc Ravagaeur.
Objectively speaking, MR is a solid fragrance.
However, I prefer other offerings in that genre from other brands, so it doesn't make my list.

Carnal flower is only #3? Srly? It’s my fave of all time
POAL and CF will always be my signature scents - the former being my absolute favourite. I can’t stand unisex fragrances that end up smelling way too masculine. POAL is a stunningly feminine albeit mysteriously powerful allowing it to smell just as amazing on guys as it does on women. Carnal Flower on the other hand is shamelessly floral given its ‘just-cut essence’ of pure stalk and bloom. It really is like walking into a florist's refrigerated room, or strolling through a garden alive with white flowers.Therefore, I can’t imagine this ultra feminine beauty on a guy.
Dries Van Noten is the name that brought me to Frederic Malle. I haven’t tried it yet as I opted for Bigarade Concentree and I absolutely love it. Any thoughts on how this scent stands out within his line? I also just bought Lys Mediterenee and am waiting on that based on this vid 😬
I've yet to try a FM fragrance, but Portrait of a Lady is on my radar because I love rose fragrances like Amouage Lyric Man and Cartier Declaration D'Un Soir.

Flower notes at first glance can be seen as feminine aspect for perfumes however they contribute to the vibe of the juice in a characteristic way.I think FM ve caught that delicate nuance for their creation.

How was the new formulation of carnal Flower by Frederic Malle, wanted to purchase one but little bit worried about the performance because before reformulation the performance of carnal Flower by Frederic Malle was bomb. Please advice me on this issue.

FM is very varied, but I just prefer their florals because I have their other genres covered by other brands.
But I'm not going to get godlike florals in that many other places, ugh.

My Portrait of a Lady it’s amazingly good but doesn’t last 24h+ . I probably get half of that. Still good , I’m not complaining actually just been honest.
Thoughts on Cologne Indelebile? .. how does that one compare to the Meditteranean one you had in your video? Cologne Indelebile reminds me of a Neroli Portofino type fragrance..
LM is way more floral and reminiscent of the sea at the same time; a spicy, nautical floral overall.

Estee Lauder has nothing to do with formulation, that's just a company that owns Frederick Malle, do you think that Estee Lauder would actually buy a brand such as Malle to dilute it? What is the biggest compliment getter for this house? I went to the Frederic Malle booth at Holts today and I asked him for the biggest compliment getter, he told me the house wasn't for me, but later said Portrait of a Lady is the best compliment getter. LMAO
He isn't wrong with that selection, yeah. I'd say mine is the same, but you're crazy AF for only wanting stuff with the lone purpose of eliciting positive feedback. :P
