I also will stand on the fact that i do not think it takes place entirely in Lumiose city. The official ZA website says “A new adventure awaits within Lumiose City, where an urban redevelopment plan is underway to shape the city into a place that belongs to both people and Pokémon. “ meaning it takes place there like Jubilife in Arceus. NOT entirely there. We will need to go to geosenge town for the ultimate weapon. Or tower of mastery for mega evolution
CoroCoro was actually one of the official Pokemon game news source before UA-cam was a thing. So we do consider it as official news.
Unfortunately nowadays they only show stuff that are already revealed online
FFXIV did the same sort of cycle, releasing an expansion every two years. The original game came out in 2013. Heavensward came out in 2015, Stormblood came out in 2017, Shadowbringers came out in 2019, and Endwalker came out in 2021. Dawntrail took 3 years and is coming out now because there is a lot more content and the game is undergoing a massive graphical update which took a year to work on.
Please let's not advocate for them to continue this fatigued release schedule. They're slowing down to insure quality and that is the most important! We don't want to see Gen 10 rushed to market so stop advocating for it!
About the points made about the TCG, specifically the release dates: Japan and the rest of the world are actually nearing simultaneous releases worldwide at this point. The precedents set by the past are changing quite a bit, in modern times. So to say we can predict what's going to happen based on past precedent....eh, not so much anymore.
The fact that all hands are on deck for Legends Z-A should mean we should not be expecting work on Gen 10 or any other spin-offs or remakes at the present time. It should serve as an indicator that the company has seen its competition rise and is now rising to the challenge. Pushing for GF and Nintendo to continue down this fatigued release schedule is only going to pressure them to release more garbage! NO! We don't want Gen 10 for the 30th anniversary! It would be guaranteed to be underdeveloped! LET THEM SLOW DOWN AND COOK!
@@grin_of_grimmsnarl1333except we know that they are already working on generation 10 by now. So we can expect them to work on gen 10 as well not just legends z-a since the fall of 2022. So gen 10 should be coming out in 2025 or 2026. Spin offs are technically made by other companies and not gamefreak. I somewhat doubt Palworld is competition given how big Pokémon is. Plus Palworld is just one game and Pokemon is more than just the games. There could be a game still shown in May or June like let’s go, ultra sun and moon, and Oras were in 2017, 2014, and 2018.

Sure. We COULD expect that Gen 10 is in the works. But as I recall correctly, Legends Arceus and BDSP were showcased first on the same Pokémon Presents. BDSP also stands to be the only Remake that wasn't done by GF. That they didn't announce another Remake in tandem with ZA is good news, at the very least. I don't want to see Gen 10 shit out for the sake of meeting a 30th anniversary deadline. Plain and simple. There are indicators all over the place that they've slowed down to focus on quality.
To top all that off: you blatantly ignored an important statement: nearly everything is changing for this company. To say that we can predict what's going to happen based on past precedent at this junction is naive. Fact is: none of us know what's going on behind closed doors for certain but we know there's necessary change happening. We also know that this half-baked release schedule is tired and very likely to be looked at in the coming years for change.
But sure, let's go ahead and just keep assuming that they're just gonna shit out garbage on a shitty deadline schedule because dates matter more than quality or a player base that is currently in mass exodus. Mmkay, bud. 😅👌

Never said Palworld was irrelevant, just said it was really competitive. That didn’t stop or Oras, let’s go, and ultra sun and moon from being shown in June and May of 2017, 2018, and 2014. So just because bdsp was shown in February doesn’t mean every Pokémon game needs to be shown in February. Even though it didn’t stop let’s go, ultra sun and moon, and Oras. And that it was sinnoh’s anniversary for diamond and pearl in 2021. Just because a Pokémon game isn’t shown in February this year, that doesn’t mean it wouldn’t probably be shown a couple months after February this year like in May or June. Because it has happened before. We know that legends arceus started development in 2018 and scarlet and violet in 2019. They also have shown us the development of when scarlet and violet and legends arceus began. And we know that they start development on the next generation when the previous generation is about to release. So they are probably are already working on gen 10 by now just like they probably worked on legends z-a since 2022 when legends arceus released in 2022 in January. Gen 10 probably not going to release past 2026. Gen 10 could be 2025 or 2026 for Pokémon’s 30th anniversary depending on when legends z-a releases and other things for Pokemon. Pokemon horizons was delayed because of Netflix and the OLM situation with them not have enough people for the anime. It’s not that we should expect gen 10 in the works, it is being in the works and being made already.
This game is going to be for switch and maybe be playable on the new Nintendo switch because of backwards compatibility.
The third detail actually pushes my theory that the starters are going to be Snivy, Piplup, and either Litten, Scorbunny, or Fuecoco.

i still think gen 10 will be 2026 because if they are consistent on is that they will never release a new generation the year a new console comes out. they literally have never done that because it hurts sales and i think that will be the main reason we get a mainline game just not gen 10

if we really wanted to go and make this like the old days theyd re-release the og RSE. even more optimally to celebrate the 30 anniversary, and this is just coping harder then the previous statement, we would get an attachment to the switch which allowed us to play DS games on the switch. sounds like something nintendo would release tho rather then pokemon but that cope couldnt be anymore real and anymore doubtful. reason i mention that btw was because of the DS and 3DS backwards compatibility but again i will continue coping in the corner.

Idk why the debate over Gen 10 launch. If it releases Nov 2025 that's as good as 2026. Just a month and a half... There is no way it would release late 2026.. Unless they shove in PLZA dlc.

It’s not just cuz of the 30th anniversary (although, I am not ruling out gen 10’s DLC being used to promote the 30th anniversary), it’s also cuz Legends ZA is probably gonna be a cross gen title & will drop sometime in March 2025 at the earliest, when the Switch 2 drops. So unless PLZA drops around the time PLA drops or right before Pokémon Day, which is when they typically announce new generations so they have enough time to promote everything, I feel like gen 10 will be in early-mid 2026.
Also, this gen especially, both the anime & the TCG were delayed by a few months, so TPC is more flexible than you think.
TL:DR, I do feel PLZA will drop in March 2025 at the earliest, which is well after Pokémon day, when they announce new gens to have enough time to promote it.

Pokemon B/W 2 came out June, 2012 for the DS but could be played on the 3DS.
I would hope for a similar situation for their next console.
The Switch has been so massively popular and sold so well, there's literally no way the next console won't be able to play switch games/switch cartridges won't continue to be produced. It would be suicide for Nintendo and they know it well, so I wouldnt worry too much about the next console's games not being playable on switch.
