- My Sister Kathy and I haven’t played on a piano together since we were kids. I quickly dropped out of piano lessons and switched to guitar. ⚠️ our skills are limited! This was a sentimental moment for us since we are sending off dad’s piano to my brother out West. Tico sounded like he said “grampa” a few times. Enjoy all the clips, many! We will miss those memories we made here in the Villages but have them all recorded for an eternity for us all to enjoy & listen to how beautiful my dad played it. We hope he got to see us playing around on the piano from heaven.
The absolute best thing about these videos of Tico is not his singing, although it’s exceptional and charming, but the look of absolute love in your eyes Frank, when you watch him sing. And that smile, like you’re hearing him sing for the first time, every time. He is adorable and so are you!
Well, and ALSO, Frank is looking at his beautiful Gina, who does all the filming. Frank Sr. didn't raise no dummies. Jr. knows which side his bread is buttered on, and you can see the LOVE in his face and in his smile as he looks at his lovely life partner. Also, "brother in the West"? Who's he? Knew about Sister, who played "heart and soul" with you on Dad's piano (stick to the guitar, Frank, and don't quit your day job), but never heard of brother before. Facts and photos, please. . . . is he single?

Thank you! We miss him as much as we will this special place where memories were made. It’s empty without him. My mother is living with my sister in NY. She is well taken care of.
@@ticothemanFrankmaglioa bittersweet era of your lives for sure. I lost my mother 2 1/2 years ago and was her caregiver, so much of my day was spent with her. I now cherish some of the fun memories I was lucky to be a part of with her. She had similar kind hearted eyes and a warm smile like Frank Sr. I think that's some of the reasons why I found him so dear ❤

I'm from outside Albany, and my Italian family is from East Harlem. We will ALWAYS have Frank Sr. Grandpa with us!!🥰 In the piano videos, and in all of the JOY, you transmit to your Tico Family daily. I just heard the "Grandpa!!!" 🤣🥰😇💛💚

I am sorry to hear that your dad is gone. I don't have to tell you: He was a very special man and a stellar musician. He really owned that piano, totally master of it. I am sitting here writing this with tears. really. on a brighter note, i remember how all kids start out learning piano playing "Heart and Soul" with two fingers. much love and Kudos to Grandpa for a life well lived.

What a bittersweet moment - Frank and Kathy at their father’s piano for the last time, and Tico belting it out in honor of his Grandpa. I’m sure Tico remembers Mr. Frank Sr. and misses the beautiful music he played, and his gentle, indulgent smile. I’m glad the piano will stay in the family and be played by your brother out west. Hearing "Heart & Soul" brought a smile to my face, remember my cousins and myself playing this over and over on our various pianos at family gatherings as we were growing up.
