The problem with Raidraptors is that there is too much of a disconnect between it's swarming strategy and ranking up. It really needs a main deck card that directly searches rank-up cards. I also hope Konami release the cards we saw in the anime like 'Raidraptor - Retrofit Lanius'.
@@UltimaXVI Second that. I would also like rank up cards that take us straight to those ranks you mentioned as rank climbing in the current game environment is just not a viable strategy. I would also want them to continue releasing alternatives to the current ranks (i.e like when they released the 'Air Raid' variant of Revolution Falcon) with contemporaneous effects.

You are absolutely right that Zexal Construction can be utilised, however, going - 1 in a hand/playstyle that heavily relies on pulling off a 2-3 card combo for a viable board is a very unattractive option, hence why many Raidraptor players do not use it. More than a third of all the RUM cards that currently exist in the game were designed for Raidraptors so it would only be appropriate that there inherently be multiple and viable search options within the Raidraptor archetype that facilitates this.
@@MrJoseph1856 I guess so I've actually been enjoying raid raptors alot in master duel and Zexal construction is ok at 1 for its cost isn't too bad considering the rank 4 raidraptor can be spammed out for advantage
I play a similar version, but I add in a few rokket cards for borreload savage dragon. If you summon Zephyros from Wise Trix and use his effect to send Bardiche to the GY you can possibly get a BSD and a CID (plus whatever xyz you want either Kali Yuga or Ultimate Falcon). Gotta get a bit lucky on the draw though
Blame phantom knight rank up for letting them XYZ climb into any dark XYZ monster instead of into specificly phantom knights or raidraptors because dark is the most used attribute of all monsters

Haven’t used it for awhile but I have a Raidraptor deck & I don’t use Kali-Yuga
