depends, not sure what his mic is but putting it outside the soundhole will capture the most balanced sound as it resonates there, but if its inside it will capture mostly lows (though it depends on the mic). Atleast thats what ive tested. (could be wrong)

@@jeremydm7646 It's true that putting the mic outside will be best for capturing. At least, don't let the mic touch the soundboard (body top). It makes the sound worse. Attaching the mic to the body side will be a better option. The best option is a dedicated mic, most streaming mics will do.
