I have a deep voice I can't sing like selena. Just take singing lessons. She obvisouly hasn't I can hear her breath like a dog between every line. She has a poor breathe support that's why she can sustain any notes.

My name for people like this is Situational Singers. In certain situations (i.e. at home, the studio, an intimate acoustic setting, etc.) they'll sound great... but when they're in front of hundreds or thousands of people and have to PROJECT is when they struggle. Her ex, The Weeknd, is similar in that regard.
Fortunately, digital audio is at a great place to be able to aid these kinds of singers, as they've become more and more common. Not just Auto-Tune, but compression really brings up the quiet notes while limiting the louder ones.
The other issue people don't tend to realize is there is a big difference between having a great voice and being a talented singer. The former is subjective, the latter is not. Just because you love someone's voice does not make them a great singer, and vice-versa. You may hate Bieber's voice (and him personally) but the boy can sing, just like you may love The Weeknd's voice (who doesn't?) yet he's not a specifically skilled vocalist.

She has had many health issues yet she continues to make songs and not let her fans down, all through the pain and difficulties she has faced in life. I’m a singer, the thing is my vocal cords and my throat get easily infected and i have soother pneumonia sometimes. It affects my singing a lot, and when im healthy (which is ever) i can BELT and sing em high notes but when they are infected which is always, i need to sing soother so I won’t be in pain, i feel like it’s something selena might also have

Selena has little control over her voice when it comes to live performances which sometimes sounds as if she cannot sing. She does use a lot of autotune which I think it is so obvious but, there are times when she pulls off the perfomances & sounds super good! I just think, she has come a long way.. she deserves to be treated better. Set aside the emotional rollercoaster she went through for a couple if years.. she's a wonderful artist.
I love Selena's songs, she has a very soft voice. People say that she doesn't have a strong voice but songs with loud screaming are just disgusting noises to me like "screaming loud and clear" with some music in the background doesn't make a heart touching song.
She may not have the strongest voice but she can sing. Her voice is so calm and literally always makes me feel better. I have watched like 5 videos on the same subject. She acts better than she sings. She is the person that could sing some karaoke. But next to ariana, no, she can't sing. I myself being a odd voice woman, can't hit some notes when i sing, but i can sing songs in a deeper tone. If someone said i can't sing, i wouldn't be mad. She isn't a singer period. A softer voice does not mean you're a weaker or lesser singer. She has a unique voice that a lot of people can't get right. This is ridiculous. She sings all of her songs perfectly. You shouldn't be comparing artists that are so obviously different in so many ways. If you don't think she can't sing, you shouldn't be clickbaiting with that title. I think is funny how you use clickbait saying in the title that she can’t sing, but all throughout the video talk about how she can she just not the “strongest”. And I thought all of them were good. Her best performances were when she was more relaxed(IMO). The less tense you are, the smoother your voice comes out. That’s probably her worst problem, not being relaxed.
Just understant for example Ariana's voice is annoying sometimes and Selena's voice is so soft and calming she is Amazing actress and song writer and great person she has been trough so much more than others i love her naturality 😍
