Just set timer at the time you want it to run, if you want the filter to run in the morning, go program it in the morning and it will run every morning, or if you want it to run at a certain time go out at that exact time and program it and it will start filtering at that same exact time every day.
Thanks for the video and instructions. What I don't understand is okay its 2 hours you set it for then it goes off but do you have to turn it on manually each time? I understand if you turn it on its already programmed for two hours but you would think it would have have ability to come on and off with the length of time its running.
It will come on for 2 hours at that same time every day, so if you want it to come on in the morning set it in the morning, if want it at night set it up at night, hope that helps

When I set it to say 6 hours does that mean it will only come on for six hours a day or will it come on for 6 hours then off for 6 hours then back on for six hours and so forth? That’s what I’d like it to do lol
If you set it to 6hours at 5pm it will run for 6 hours every day at 5pm. I program mine at like 8pm so it kicks on at 8pm every night so it turns on after we are already out of the pool, I have a 10’x30” 1000 gallon pool so I only run it four 1 or 2 hours a day. Hope that helps
To get FP off, To toggle this ON or OFF, simply press and hold both the up and down arrows on the control panel at the same time until you hear a single beep
Me too! We just put this together and set everything up. The buttons worked the first say and I set the timer and was able to turn it on, off, etc. Now it is stuck on 4 hours and the buttons are completely unresponsive. We have to literally plug and unplug it from the outlet to get it to turn on and off.
my pool pump just stopped working, the power is on and the decimal point is lit, when I plug and unplug the power it beeps and comes on but it will not start. anyone have the answer??
@@goneviral6037 thank you! It worked for me! But I had to do an extended hold on each press. So happy it came back on. I'm just going to operate from the test/retest button on the plug now. I have it set to FP for continuous use. Afraid to shut it off again. I guess the electronics are known to be glichy on these models.
Have you ever lost control of the buttons? Mines is stuck on 8hrs. If I unplug it I just starts the 8 hrs over.. I tried holding the unlock button and everything I can think of.
Just turned on my sand pump today. It turns on but the timer light doesn’t turn on on the motor. It’s pumping the water though. Anyone know what’s wrong or how to fix it?

My pump suddenly stopped working. It showing a red dot flashing. Does anyone had same problem? May i add this my second pump cause first one quit on me "SMH"
@@goneviral6037 lasted 2 days. Ran the pump atleast 4 hrs a day. The second one i have i run it atleast 2 hrs a day. It was good til suddenly red light flashing.

Yes, FP on my Intex Sand filter means manual mode with no timer with continuous filtering. ☺️

Great filter i have same one . Only problem with timer is you cant set time of day you want it to run .

The controls on mine stopped working next day. I'm in the claim process with Intex to handle the warranty.

Nope worked every time, I’m not sure if there is a reset button.

@@giacomosardelli I contacted intex 11 days before my warranty expired. I got lucky they sent out another unit free of charge
My 6 way valve went next. I'm staying away from intex after this. Imma try Hayward next.

This is 2100 gph and used 50lbs of sand , is that what you mean by capacity?
