    - I've been using Chakram for 3 years, honestly it's the best mouse I've ever used, Its joystick can help me play some flight simulators or simply move up and down very quickly while surfing the web or countless other conveniences if I know how to use it. However, I am quite upset about its scroll wheel, it has started to mess up and not work properly with my rolling speed.
    - And you know, the rubber coating on the scroll wheel is quite thin and easy to wear, in addition, its rubber is very easy to age and decay over time. I don't know where to replace the scroll wheel system, but the warranty company will give a very expensive price.
    - I always set the rgb brightness to about 50%, and its battery has been working for 2 days so far (I use the mouse a lot), other than the scroll wheel issue, I have no complaints about it. 😁😁 Sorry for my bad english.

      That's great long term feedback, thanks for commenting.
      As far as replacing the scroll wheel, it is doable, but you would need to buy a specific screwdriver and you may break something. I've opened the mouse once and it isn't the easiest to repair. I hoped the scroll wheel would last longer than the switches.

    do you still recommend this mouse in 2024 or should i go with Logitech G502 X Lightspeed or Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro ? thanks again for the review

      I would recommend it if you have more Asus accessories. If you have positive experiences with armoury crate as I have. I think it's a great mouse. Otherwise I know the Logitech one is extremely good and very dependable

      @@Wolfgang790tech i actually received my Asus Rog Strix scope II 96 keyboard today and i love it, and i also have the Asus ROG GT AX6000 router and it’s wonderful 👌. Asus always impress me with their quality and performance and designs, but I’m still more open to see if there’s any other gaming mouse that i should give it a try. I don’t really care much for the ROG as i care about if it operate with AAA battery and to have a bluetooth as an option.

    I just ordered this mouse last night I'm sick of buying cheap mouses the buttons start acting up or quit working or the scroll wheel button stops working or acts up so that's why I got this mouse 🐁 everything that I have is a ausu rog everything in my gaming rig to what's on my desk can't wait to get it and try it out this mouse 🐁 looks sick I always love the looks of asus rog products and never really had a problem with them breaking or screwing up and as far as the program's go same thing never had a problem using their programs hardware I don't know I guess it's because like I said everything I have going from what's in my PC to on my desk is asus rog I try to keep it all the same product same name everything that way you'll have less f*** ups and less hardware screw-ups hardware conflicts and a good job on the video review enjoyed watching it 👍 oh and as far as going with the price as asus rog products are premium products so yeah everytime I buy one of their products I expected to be expensive but so worth it

      I love their design language as well. I can admit I got some inspiration from their logo for mine.
      Just remember they're not perfect, for example with the whole AMD CPUs burning up until after a big ordeal and miscommunication. They are great, but never be too obsessed with a brand as to call them perfect.

      @@Wolfgang790tech yeah true but for me I call them perfect lol because like I said I have everything almost all rog and before I had Corsair and Corsair is garbage nothing but problems with them shity mouse that broke after three months the keyboard and headset headstand kept cutting in and out for some reason have no clue why it still does it once in awhile and some of their fans that I paid a shitload of money for a few of them weren't so it's already after a year

      Hit the send button by accident to continue on the only thing I liked about Corsair was the ram and I had a few other products that didn't last as long I don't know I guess I game hard I guess I am on my computer every single day all the time using all my computer gear and with the Asus rog I had most of it for over a year now and still working like new but yeah that whole motherboard sing with the AMD chips burning up when I heard that and seeing videos on it it did break my heart but you know what almost every f****** company has f*** ups like that

      Hey, thanks for the comment. Means a lot yo me.
      I only have experience with the Cetra 2 and I'd say they aren't great. I got to make a follow up on those earbuds.
      As for headsets I'd recommend getting normal good sounds headphones, and buy a cable with a boom mic attached.
      Check my mic setup vid, the first item I show is what I mean. I'll be making a video on a new one I just bought

    I have fused fingers on left., so wasd movement is a pain in the rear.
    Am currently tempted to try the chakram.x mouse. But shes a bit pricy and i question if my noggin could co.ordinate fluent movement in games like csgo😂
    Or possibly the wired left handed razor Tartarus v2 keypad with thumb joy.

    • @Wolfgang790tech
      @Wolfgang790tech  11 місяців тому +1

      That's an interesting use case. I'd personally go with the razor thing as it's easier to adjust to, but it would be nice to control everything from one hand. If you're competitive in csgo, then it kind of has to be the razor though

    the joystick is not innovative, Mad Catz MMO7 and RatM have had that a decade ago
    I really like some of the features but I think the worst thing is the ergonomics are bad...the joystick is too far and the wheel is way too close
    when holding the mouse with a close hug (not claw grip) to have the thumb on the joystick the wheel is then so close that you cannot scroll with your fingertip
    would be a great mouse if they did not mess up on the most basics ;o]

    • @Wolfgang790tech
      @Wolfgang790tech  Рік тому

      That's true, ergonomics could be better. Luckily for my games I don't use the joystick so it doesn't bother me, but then again, that means I could use pretty much any other mouse

  • @maimaibiri9045
    @maimaibiri9045 Рік тому

    The selling point of this mouse is the joystick, if you don't need one dont choose this and save yourself some money, but even if you do need them, the joystick on this mouse is too far for regular comfort use, unless you can find a 3rd printed custom joystick cap to be able to move it back, this mouse is useless for the price, or as useful as any other regular mouse without a joystick for far less cheaper, if you intend to get the new chakram x, don't bother, its the same design resulting in the same unreachable thumbstick, damn thing is a massive dissappointment, a regular wireless logitech mouse with tilt key is far usefull than this.

    • @Wolfgang790tech
      @Wolfgang790tech  Рік тому

      Yeah, it's made for the people who like to tinker *with large hands*. Overpriced for sure but for some, it's good. Just really depends on what you're looking for.
