Laser guided is (believe it or not) nothing to do with cats. A laser is precise. Another good term for it is surgical. If he's a lyrical hybrid, that means that lyrics are ingrained in him. They're a part of him. Lastly, you're absolutely correct. Arm wrestling has nothing to do with being sick, but you missed that one as well. He said he had to force the pen to write the lyrics because they were so sick the pen didn't want anything to do with them. You know, like when someone has the vid and you don't want to get near them? I hope that clarifies everything that went over your head.

I think it drove him crazy because Canibus (much like Eminem) is someone who really cares about his craft. He really did help to create a monster record indirectly and it fed with his head. Respect for being honest no matter how long it took; it's cool for the fans to know these things.

Em talks about it in the song “can I bitch” look it up. Than Canibus dropped an album titled “C Hollywood stories” where he supposedly brought Stan back to life and took him on tour. When Stan came out original in Detroit, many people knew it was directed toward canabis in the underground seen. IT was pushed with a promo CD/Tape that Em would release with a lot of singles he first put out, with a bunch of skits on it with Kennth kaniff and it made reference to Canabis back then right b4 the song played. I remember having at least 10-14 of these different promo tapes but lost all of them when car got jacked for all it tapes and CD in the trunk. 😭😭😭

I’ve been listening to his discography for the past few weeks. Canibus is in my top 4. He’s on the Mt. Rushmore of greatest rappers of all time. On his best day, he’s the GOAT. His best bars and verses are on another level.

What could’ve been. The lyricism when canibus came out was hitting such an amazing peak, and he was such a hungry beast killing mixtapes and features. Honestly when his debut dropped I loved it, there were 6 or 7 songs on it that I thought were amazing. I was young as hell but it showed me how advanced hiphop could be intellectually in a different way. I felt the same way when I started dissecting capital punishment. For like 3-4 months nothing else mattered. It takes a really great artist who’s doing something really special to make you feel that way. Marshall Mathers LP did it to me too, like listening to it like wtf is going on, I can’t believe this guy created this. It would be dope if they connected and talked, not even having to make records together, because I know a young Eminem was hearing canibus smash into the game and was thinking this guy is something to be reckoned with.

Later canibus sent eminem the song Phuk U so they could collaborate and em wasn’t feeling it so he said no but they should get together later and do the song both of them together. Around this time canibus had penned a few letters to eminem and in his opinion eminem was using those letters as if canibus was Stan writing to him. Eminem said that Canibus wrote him several letters, that he never bothered to even read, once he started to read them several months later he noticed that each and every letter got angrier and angrier, the very point that Eminem brought up in Stan. On Canibus album C True Hollywood Stories he had a song called box cutter blade runner where he said the line "2 trailer park girls run rowdy outside"..... Eminem used the line in one of his songs (subliminally) and Canibus was saying it was driving him crazy. He also made a song on that album responding to Stan with a skit called Stan Lives and a song called U Didn't Care
I witnessed all of this while it was happening as a fan of both artist
I was listening to the Canibus diss just the other day and, funny enough, Em says in it that Canibus actually did leave him a couple of letters
