I had the issue with sending out beats for validation but now I know that’s a problem thanks
All I can say is thank you, this video has put alot of things in perspective for me❤
As a creator I find your channel inspirational.. Subbed.. Much love out here from Nashville Tennessee!
I love your advice on studying channels. Two months into learning how to produce, so that is literally what I am here for. You are incredible! Thank you for inspiring me and providing direction.
Thanks for the motivation, I've been writing beats for 4 years, I'm always learning, watching tutorials, spending all my free time on it, I haven't sold anything yet but I really like the process of writing and the atmosphere, it's just a pity that there is no one around with the same interests, thanks to such wonderful people making videos like you).
thanks
Do more such videos please . very very helpful content you have started creating 😀.
Thanks for the advice, im doing it from my room also.
Great advice kid!!
I really enjoy this types of videos about sharing ideas to beginners like me. Thanks a lot
Good to hear thank you 🙏
Thank you for guiding us in this direction 🙌🙌❤❤❤❤
🙌
Thank you, nice tips. We want more video Lollipop!
🙏
Straight facts 💯 I used to think that way too in regards of like making a beat too basic. And now like whatever I make I definitely post them!
Facts!
I enjoy these videos! Thanks!
Thank you!
I watched you post beats on your IG every single day you deserve everything coming your way gang love 💙🏆
Damn that was a while ago haha thank you fr 🙏
I totally agree with these points
🙌💯
Great advice. 100% agree with you.
🤝
You are so inspiring. Great advice creativity wise and business wise. X
❤️
Thank you for keeping it real.
🙌
Very inspiring. I’m currently starting and feel overwhelmed watching tutorials but this video is motivating! Thanks!
I know it’s very overwhelming, I still feel like this too. Just keep going and practising 🙌
thanks for the tips i feel motivated to make my beat channel
Yesss 👏
You're a good girl, thank you very much for sharing.
Nice video, great advice!
🙌
I have massive respect for you and all female producers out there! I've been using FL for a good few years now and I too started without learning how the DAW actually works, how to use plugins, learning music theory etc. There's no real formula to making music coz it's all just a feeling/mood/vibe right??
I wish you the best on your journey and I would like to challenge you to try a different genre every month! even if you just loop a few patterns. I do it constantly and its opened up so many different ideas/results in my music
I appreciate that! And yeah that’s facts, you don’t need any music theory to be able to make beats. And for sure I should try more genres!
great point
This is the first "things i wish i knew before i started making beats" video that I can resonate with and that has actually helped, I am so glad I clicked on this video. No banging on about plugins, effects, melody secrets, theory etc but instead you're telling us the real things we need to know about and what we should be focusing on. Far too often when producers make these sorts of videos they forget that the viewers are probably not at that pro level yet so the information they give out is unhelpful. Thank you for being so informative, genuine and helpful each point you made is bang on the money, you didn't have to make this video but you did I can tell you genuinely want to help upcoming producers. Your a real one
Thank you for your comment I really appreciate that and I’m glad you feel this way, I definitely wanted to make a video I would’ve found useful too as I’ve watched so many that don’t really tell you anything useful
@@lollypopbeatz your welcome credit where credit is due always 👍. Yep Agreed there’s so similar styled vids out there that just don’t help 😂. often I think the creators who make the videos are forgetting that all they need to do is keep things simple and concentrate on aspects that are catered more towards the mindset of a aspiring producers rather than banging on about what plugins to use and regurgitating the same stuff everyone is saying.
great tips, ive got into a habbit where I only post beats are really enjoy on their own. il start every other day
Good start 🙌
You hard, keep going 🔥🔐
🙏🙏
I really appreciate the good advice, have been making remixes now im uploading them, though i dont have a huge fan base, hoping for the best..
Keep going 🙌
this is so useful thank you

Great video , Thanks alot .
Thank you!
Good message, I’m trying to get on UA-cam this week myself and I can’t keep saving my beats
Yes just put them out there
Simple beats >>>> complex beats 💯. Especially when trying to go for placements. Complex works for beat battles but that's about it really. We often get worried about other producers thoughts on our technical skills, but as you said we don't have to impress producers.
Brilliant advice right there
wrong tho, you can get placments on big channels like bassnation, and its not only prods that listen to it . and who said that you cant rap on beats like that? we not in 2017 anymore

@@saikikdosntexist When i said placements I probably should of specified better... I ment with artists.... Nobody said you can't rap over complex beats though. It's just that artists are often loking for beats with space in them for the vocals to fit in. They often want to be the focal point of the track.
Obviously for things like bass nation it clearly works to but, and for instrumental albums it works as well which 2bf are 2 scenarios I didnt mention......also sync licensing and tv placements
Of course with music there's never any right or wrong way. As long as your enjoying what you make it's all good.
👍
fire!!
Appreciate you!
Thanks for this video. I'm producing ambient and drone ambient, I may dabble in LoFi and maybe some Trap as well. But for now I'm just getting started with my channel. Thanks for sharing your insights. My take away is to study channels.
🙌
please teach us how to mix and master
Yes Lauren, You come a long way.
🙏❤️
Do the video on your first 50 sales i think that would be really helpful for the new producers!
Got you!
Great video, are u gonna be making video about specifically your melodies? like nardo wick type melody? or smth like that?
I would appreciate that :)
I can do!
Theres a million things i wish i knew 😂😂
Still learning every day 😌 🙌
You can never stop learning!
@@lollypopbeatz i hear that 💯
ahahha what a moment lol that artist told that producer lol
I agree and Im 23 tryna make beats too but I dont have nearly the amount of programs on my fl studio that other people use to make their beats sound authentic and whatnot i dont even have slicer only thing I have is some things that kyle beats has like drip which i dont even know what I havent even use and I dont know
You don’t need that much, I started off with no vsts or drum kits then slowly invested in some sounds so if you can make decent beats with what you have then that’ll help for sure
keep going up!!!
🙌
Nice nice
💯🔥🙏
Can you do a video on equipment you need to start out as a beginner beat maker
Yes for sire
🙏
I never dmed you on instagram for the sounds but its like you get me!! 😂😂 i still havent figured out what simple ot simplicity is can you show us in a video one day so my brain can fully function it 😅
It’s hard to exactly describe a “simple” beat but I just mean pretty catchy/repetitive, not too much going on with the drums and melody and easy to flow on
@Lollypopbeatz I get what you mean, just for some reason everytime I make something it's always a little to extra in it or sounds like a little too much going on... Maybe I get a little to excited sometimes 🤣🤣

fire female prod💥
🙌
Thank you for how genuine you have been. I subbed because you have inspired me, and I think it’s great that women are beginning to show what they can accomplish in a male dominated field. I’m a guy but I always give females their flowers cause in reality it’s hard for anyone to make it. Kudos to you, keep grindin
Thank you that means a lot fr 🙏
Love your beats. Got hipped by Midwest Milly
This was some great advice. 👍 I like to see a woman make beats. It's not just for men. And you are good. Much love Lil sis. 🎉

How much do you think producers should charge per beat when just starting out? I feel like a lot of producers really drag down the market by discounting their beats too much but I know it still needs to be affordable for small artists. Any advice?
Just staring out ? Everything for free bro ,focus on getting known first , nobody’s gonna buy nun off someone they don’t know, you want them to keep coming back, get your name out and let them know your style first . Top tier marketing
Finna start uploading my beats like a factory 🏭 😅
Yeah that’s basically what’s it’s like 😂
When I listen to most beats on youtube i feel like am the only one who is yet to understand to make good beats ,its tough!
You might not think they’re good but someone else might, don’t compare yourself to other producers just make what you enjoy and keep practising 🙌
@@lollypopbeatz thank you for the encouragement
I’m curious how long u we’re posting beats for before u made your first sale ? I appreciate the advice !
I made my first sale 2 weeks after I started posting on UA-cam but that was from me reaching out to artists on Instagram. It took 8 months of consistently posting for me to get my first sale directly from UA-cam

Cute video

that is true about the simpler beat but what if your trynna network with other producers and they dont like your simple melodies so therefore you have to be complex or unique ?
I get what you mean and it can be confusing but also a bunch of producers look for simple hard melodies so if they like something they hear they can always add to it or just leave it
@@lollypopbeatz true Thanks for the advice

I've seen channels grow with the first beat
All of their videos are under five beats
How to experience this growth? Have they advertised?
Probably yes, it’s clear when channels have paid for ads or not
💯👌🏻🔥🫶🏻
🙌
good video but examples would make this better
Appreciate the feedback, what examples do you mean?
Its weird being a producer and making music but it not being the main step in being a good producer the exprosure and marketing is 😂😂
Show your mix and master??
yea this unfortanely the problem with music biz....its has very little to do with music...Honestly thou since you've noticed this you should take time to master your craft so you music stands above others
@Bobby4F games the game bro 😂 but yeah definitely find your place and master till your unique 🔥🔥
@@superhobo500 It isn’t a problem tbh, it’s always been like this and this is how it’s supposed to be
@@totolick7328 naw. back in the day ppl tried to break new sounds. when making a "fresh" lol sound was the number 1 goal the industry was different. It had a lot of the same problems today but at least producers and artist gave a damn about the sound. Image is king now.
Yeah it sucks but because it’s such a competitive industry you have to market yourself otherwise you’re not gonna stand out
I'll be honest I do find it a bit odd that a young British girl likes Chief Keef, and made his type beats every day. Did you originally actually like his music or did you see that He was an up and comming US rapper and study his music in order to replicate his sound for type beats? The fact your a young English girl doing American Trap on one artist has basically launched your music career, that's baffling Me but your clearly skilled and already got a business mind so carry on.
White girls love sosa
Lol bro shut up
Ppl are surprised by me all the time but all kinds of music are enjoyed and created by everyone so you can never judge a book by it’s cover. I just happen to be a British girl doing it. I started listening to his music and got inspired to make his kinda beats and found that it was my favourite style to make so I ran with it. You’d be surprised how many big producers started out posting type beats and how it’s changed their lives
@@lollypopbeatz hes just making sure you are grifting … people like PVLACE screwed it up for everyone… …
@@lollypopbeatz Yes that makes sence type beats just didn't feel right to Me, instead of just doing one type of music at your age I basically did anything, Hiphop, Drum n Bass, Trance, Techno, Rock and other stuff. The idea was to be good at doing as wide a range of music as possible to apeal to the widest production needs however doing to wide a scope means no target audience. What you did is the opposite to Me and now I'm twice your age lost the advantage of youth playing catchup to someone like you. To be in your position at such a young age is very unique especially in Rap music. I have probably been making Rap beats before you where born.
You single?
Middle class lass making street beats.
