hey i got my hands on a 1981 kawaski intruder without a engine so i installed a 1991 scandic 377 into it made he belley pan from fiberglass ,etc , 9870 km on the body the thing is in great shape
Man I love this channel. I watched the full build series on the zx chassis 700 it was great. I have an 01 zx 700 sport i love it.I love the older sled stuff to. My uncle has a 85 citation 250 that thing is fun and reliable. You do a great job on yt love it
The Sled version of the 277F was rated 28hp@6750rpm and used a 34mm Mikuni = 67% VE. The Ultralight version 277UL was rated 28hp@6400rpm and used a 36mm Bing 54 Carb = 69% VE. Using a Tuned Pipe Designed for 6500rpm using 11.5cr and the proper size of Carb it takes 7cc to make 1hp. 268cc/7cc= 38.2hp@6500rpm = 93% VE. 268cc at 6750rpm using 93% VE = 40hp. 268cc at 7000rpm using 93% VE = 41hp. But I haven't found anyone making Custom Tuned Pipes for the 277F or the 277UL. If you use all of the different Engine Ceramic, Heat Dispercent, and Moly Coatings you can lower your overall Temps by 20%.
Luis is the engine in that from a citation 3500 or tundra 2?..both are the same except the tundra 2 has a fan im pretty sure...but the air cooled citation engine isn’t a good engine...my dad still has his citation he bought new in 1980 and it’s been trouble since day 1.
@@PowerModzOfficial nice! I live in a small community in Newfoundland and my dad and a couple of his buddies bought citation 3500 in back in 1980, and they all had trouble lol. When I used the machine growing up I walked home more times than I rode it 😂from what I remember it always overheated and couldn’t keep the pull cord assembly’s in it
@@PowerModzOfficial also, would you happen to know where a guy could get his hands on a wiring harness for a 277? We redid the top end a few years ago and noticed the wiring harness was all buggered up.
@@PowerModzOfficial Thanks. I have a 73 elan that someone put a 300 piston, barrel and head on. 76mm bore. I want to run a vm34 so I am looking at starting points. I have a set of pilot jets and will start with a 35. It came with a tilly HR131A but never seemed to run right. I also have an HR 7a from an older 299cc. It does have an adjustable main jet. I am looking at all options for this sled. Engine has approx 143PSI compression. I really appreciate you getting back to me. Thanks, Stephen in NS
