I prefer the Sledgehammer, which is odd, because they are the exact same material and size. Not sure why the Sledgehammer sounds so much different. But I think it's a better sound.
@@jeff_towers I still have the stock remo x ambassador on it, but I bought a evana HD dry for it, just haven't put it on yet because I'm trying to get some juice out of that remo, it sounds good! 🥁
Ive got mine also a few weeks ! Put a Heavyweight dry on it ! I'm gonna try a P77 also in a few weeks !

Hi. Ya there is definitely a relation in the tone for sure. It's all subjective to each drum.
