Individualistic mongol culture. Individualism culture is typical for people living in low population density, where no one can count on others. People near north pole are all similarly individualistic culture. Such culture tend to be more egalitarian, less verbal, little emotion with mask like non-expressive faces. Their social skill also suffers. But very strong visual-spatial ability which can be advantageous in military.

China has developed very good roads around china borders on all sides of the country how difficult environment is easy accsess.either in mountains, grass lands ,and icy lands and deserts and inaccessible areas.hats off.
When I was still in school, every vacation I would take a train or a long-distance bus to travel across Inner Mongolia. Among my classmates, many were from Ujumchin areas, speaking the Chakhar dialect fluently, which is considered the standard form of Mongolian in Inner Mongolia. As someone who has lived abroad for many years, I can’t help but leave comments whenever I see videos of my hometown, and I warmly welcome friends from afar to visit Inner Mongolia for travel, vacation, work, or study.
Looks like western Kansas in America, where I lived for many years. The grass moves like waves of water and they say there is more sky than land. I loved the watch the weather come across the prairie, sometimes heading for us, sometimes not. The stars at night make a person feel very small.
The night sky in country Australia has the same ambience and dimensions. It does make one feel small, I used to lie on the grass at night, wondering at the force of gravity, which stopped me spinning out into the universe, but felt lighter than a blanket. I thought I was alone, but now I realise you were sharing the night with me, all over the world.
@ I wondered that same thing. My mom would spread out a blanket and snacks and binoculars and we would look for UFOs. I am 68 years old now and still watch for those.
Greetings from Outer Mongolia! It is always a pleasure to see you traveling through the northern part of China. Things in Inner Mongolia are almost the same as here.
As always, your choice of music is impeccable! At around the 3 minute mark, when the drone is flying over the cattle, the music reminds me of a western (USA) tune, which makes a connection between ranchers in Mongolia and in the western states of the USA, then the music smoothly becomes a Celtic tune; the haunting and sweetly melancholy of the tune fits the video very well. Brava!😊
Inner Mongolia's grasslands are unbelievably vast; it's hard for me to imagine crossing them on a scooter. I was shivering just listening to the wind as you rode. It's always so interesting to hear the various local people talk about their lifestyles, food, and culture. Thank you for bringing these slices of life in China right to my home! Stay warm!❤❤
@@contextfree There used to be WAY more beavers. I wounder how much of inner Mongolia used to be forested. It only takes grazing animals a hundred years to push back a forest--lots of examples in africa and the united states.
The only difference is that there's not many Dakota Indians left in their own land, but there's over 4 million Mongolians in Inner Mongolia, making it the largest Mongol population in the world, larger than that of Outer Mongolia.
@@pefsgk5092 It's not as if the Mongolians and Chinese have always gotten along. Genghis Khan is estimated to have killed 40 million Chinese - the most violent clashes in history prior to the world wars. That's just one thing; this area has a lot more history than that. That said, there is no reason ethnic Mongolians and Han Chinese should not get along now; Yan's attitude is a beautiful example of this. The relations between the Mongols and Han Chinese are not perfect now (they are discouraging the Mongol language in schools in favor of Mandarin - not unlike historic Indian schools and use of native languages and English in the U.S.) - but certainly much better than during the Mongol invasions. Similarly, there are shameful elements to history between the American Indians and the white settlers; it is better now, certainly not perfect. The area of a city in Inner Mongolia is often comparable to that of some countries in the world. For example, my city, Ulanqab, covers 55,000 square kilometers. We have the world's second-largest alpine meadow grassland and a dormant volcanic group, which belongs to a village and includes more than 20 volcanoes, as well as a particularly spectacular ancient crater covered by grassland. The magnificent scenery here in summer is something many Chinese have never seen before. You are welcome to visit.
The music when you showed the sheep reminded me of bagpipes. You are very brave traveling so far on your scooter! I really hope you get sponsored by the products you use on your trips.
In the dictionary next to the word 'intrepid' there should be a picture of Yan. I've taken motorcycle journeys through Mexico and across the American West, so I know something of the joys and dangers involved. But to do this on a scooter, alone, across Mongolia! is the gutsiest thing I can imagine.
This area reminds me of the prairie lands in the US near Wyoming and South Dakota. I drove across both states. They are very similar, with grasslands and a lot of wind the whole time.
