Great flying, great color grading... looks awesome! Bought a GoPro myself to put on a DJI FPV...hope that will work well - didn't tryed it yet... keep up the good work... subscribed ;)
The avata camera is good for sure. Especially after the the 10bit upgrade. Gopro is a little better but the big difference is that you can film with different shutter speed than you fly with. For example 30 fps 1/60s is a great setup for filming but terrible for flying (what you see in the goggles). There are also some extreme cases where you definitly need different camera setups for example in a concert situation. In this case this was just a test for myself to see how the avata handles the situation 😅
Yeah the gopro really is a step up in quality especially in bad conditions but you also feel the weight of it quite hard. Its really top heavy and sometimes the avata gets a bit confused 😅 But the avata camera has quite a good quality nontheless🙌
Thanks 🙌 Well in cant say that ita problem free 😅 You can feel that its top heavy a lot when you use the yaw axis. Also when i tried the brake button to put the avata in normal mode it got confused. In the goggles was a warning of high wind (there was no wind) and then it flew of against a tree 😅 But this didnt happen when i put the avata from manual directly to normal or sport mode
@@mirkokuenstler6650 Thanks so much for mentioning this. Nobody had talked about issues carrying the Gopro in Normal mode. So it only had issues with the brake, not flipping into Normal or Sport mode. Interesting... I think you just saved me a crash. The Mini 11 just arrived today, and I'm waiting on my mount - so now I know 🤪
I didn't change anything on the avata. For cruising around it works quite well but you can feel the extra weight a lot. But the motor upgrade would help for sure i think 😅
Thank you 🙌 I bought it as a 3 d print from fn-prototyping. But there a lot of Shops online that sell these 3 d printed mounts. You also will find them on etsy
Great video. Well done. Nice cinematic with good colour grading. Few questions if I may. Did you fly on manual mode or you using MC? What settings you used on GoPro? I'm asking because I have both the Avata and the GoPro 11 but never try them together. Also did you try to do some crazy moves with the GoPro on top on manual mode like loops, flips and rolls. Just wander of you tried and if can be done with the heavy GoPro 11 on top. Thanks. + 1Subscribe
Thanks a lot 🙌 This was all in manual and i wouldnt recommend flying with a gopro in normal or sport mode. The avata gets a little confused from time to time with the extra weight 😅 Gopro was filming in 1/60 30fps 5.3k. I didnt try to acro with the gopro. You can feel the weight a lot when flying so for me its more about cruising in this combination. For tricks and agressive flying i will definitly use my nazugul 🙌
Very very nice 👍👍👍
Thanks 🤗 🙌
That was awesome

Yeah wish you good luck with your drone 🙌
Great video!
I still don't understand why Avanta flyers would also use a Go Pro...is the Avanta camera not that great?
Thanks!

@@mirkokuenstler6650 Thanks for your feedback. But anyway, it's a great video, it looks great!
Yeah the gopro gives the image quality quite a boost 🙌

Did you have to modify the avata at all? I didn't think it could support a gopro.

Does it carry the GP Brick?
Love the tree top flying! What do you use for a gopro mount? Thanks for sharing.

running with stock motors ?
Yes 🙌
do you suffer from microvibrations with this setup?
