revisiting this after a month, i still can't stop listening to this theme. it sounds like a bad end version of hatred's theme, like the boss theme for the PLAYER after hatred takes over their character and obtains the venomshank, and we have to play as one of the side characters that we met on our journey to find and purify the player's soul it sounds like the boss theme for a hatred-corrupted protagonist, the agonized screaming at the start makes me imagine it's our original character briefly managing to let out a cry for help before hatred pulls them back under and puppets their body around for its own ends and the more frantic tempo compared to the original is because this ISN'T a battle in the center of the mind and unlike our player character, the side character is inferior or isn't as experienced in fighting and therefore stands a very real chance of dying (maybe the character we'll play as would be griefer, or cruel king, or red and blue) even if they all ganged up on a hatred-possessed player, they have three sfoth swords and have slaughtered hundreds that came before. they stand very little of a chance in defeating a corrupted hero who won't hold back, and this theme kind of gives me those vibes. sorry for the yap this is just an amazing remix and i can't stop listening to it, it's so good there's so much to analyze rahhh if i ever use this for a fic i'll let you know, it's so pEAK

Combined with the fact that HATRED takes the form of builder man in the mindscape, it's safe to say that he has been "consumed" by HATRED (fully taking over someone, potentially able to manifest physically like how he tried to do with us as he resides in an area with veins and heart, implying that the RED THING was beginning to manifest in us physically as well.)
