The species that have many specimens which are collected at different localities and populations. This allows me to see the geographical variation within species or lack thereof, such as size, gender differences, pattern differences etc, all are important in ID and taxonomy. My goal for my collection is to have it as a reference collection others can use to compare and help ID their own specimens so for me its important to have those specimens from different areas that are the same species because of that so none of them are collected for the heck of it or willy nilly as they are caught at different localities specifically for the reasons I mentioned....hope my explanation helps
