Someone give the dispatcher a raise. She asked all the right questions to show it was Jeff's own car and that he was just holding a sign in public.
The dispatcher should be a detective.

I get the feeling she's an HYO fan 😆
Damn......a public servant that knows her job !!! The way it should be done !!!
This deranged lady who called 911 needs to be charged
Pet obviously another damn foreigner that came to OUR country for OUR freedoms and opportunities and yet wants to drag her ideas from her old $hithole country here and LIE through her teeth !!!! IF any thing bad had of happened to Jeff as a result of her lying call I would go after her in civil court for huge damages, maybe that would teach her NOT to lie to the cops !!!
Unfortunately she would have to sign a paper attesting that she saw him breaking into vehicles for it to be considered a crime. No signature equals no crime. Don't believe me call any D.A.
Part of the problem is that people make a bunch of assumptions and treat those as evidence.
The caller made it clear that she was calling because "it's just weird" and "it feels awkward."
Saying he is trying to get into a vehicle is not a crime since he did go over to his truck....... yes she is being a pest, but yes she is being helpful. What if he was breaking into the truck. But she broke no laws.
The dispatcher did a good job solving the “crime” on her own
Yes, but she still offered to send a cop. Do they ever refuse? Are they allowed? Isn't it specifically their job to "diagnose" a call to determine the correct course of action? 🤔
I know, right?
@@I.____.....__...__no their job is to get as much information as they can and send a response.
what crime was that lol
@@mattgraham1983 Agreed...but since some cops won't do theirs, she does it for them.
this dispatcher gets an A+. She mentioned, "standing on the public right of way." And, "only one car? maybe his own car?"
she should be a LEO...

-has common sense
-respects human rights
let's clone her
I can't believe we're so surprised when the dispatcher does their job for once.
@@trucid2 I know, right?!
I feel like The dispatcher might have been aware of Jeff through previous calls and thought is that it could have been him after hearing the sign
@@NOmoreSHULISequalsWORLDpeace Most likely she had a heads up on Jeff in some way. Maybe the police had spotted him and alerted dispatch to be skeptical.
People that knowingly make false 911 calls or exaggerate them need to be held accountable!!!
I agree
Agreed. The person making the call is going to determine the mindset, aggression and manpower that is brought to each call.
In this case, the caller wasn't very smart, obviously.
Multiple cars turned into multiple doors on 1 car. Turned into "it might be his car".
@robertschoelerman7496 Yes, as it has caused innocent people to lose their lives
Calls for service determine police budgets. Cops want them ALL, true or not.
Whoever the "caller" was needs to be held legally accountable for making false police reports!
She needs to be in jail for a week - to see how the consequences feel for putting others in harms way.
Unfortunately they don't do that. They claim it would discourage people calling in actual crimes.
She believes what she is saying.
That caller was dumb. She really saw a situation, highly elaborated the situation, I don't know why and got called out on every bit of misinformation she spouted b the dispatch.
If there was EVER a person that should be villified on the internet it's her.
Unfortunately the caller did not give a false statement. Jeff did in fact entered his truck for water. Yes we all know they used that just to get leos to show up and make Jeff move along, Jeffs video proves this.
My guess is they never showed up seeing they got the tag number and saw it was Jeff.
The dispatcher was *PHENOMENAL*
Indeed she was. They should get a small bonus for "Ferretting Out" BS calls as it saves so much money and allows LEO's to be available for real criminal activity.
"It might be his own car?" Outstanding dispatcher.
This dispatcher single handedly gave this police dept an A++
16 years ago, I was held at gunpoint for trying to break into my own house. People should go to jail for making false reports.
In 1977 cops pulled a car load of us over and the scariest 1/2 hour of my life.
Was spent laying on the concrete with a cop holding us at the point of his shotgun.
He was shaking more than we were and you could hear the rattling of the shotgun....
WOW glad you survived that.
8 years ago I was pulled over, yanked out of my car, beat up and arrested for beating my wife.... except I didn't have a wife, and had the wrong color skin that the suspect had; cops saw my car and targeted me because of 'witness' statements. I cashed a check for 35 grand not too long after that in exchange for dropping a lawsuit.
@ Gun point by a very nervous Rookie reserve, a Barney Fife situation .. on the sidewalk
If cops saw someone trying to break into your house you wouldnt want them held at gun point? 😮
I have never heard a dispatcher solve the "crime". kudos.
My guess is that that woman dials 911 every time she can't understand what somebody is doing.
Problems arise when the officer that turns up has a massive ego.
It makes me wonder how many times some Karen has called the police on ME for doing some mundane activity... I am a stereotypical "suspicious guy" because I am big & tall with a beard and lots of tattoos.
That dispatcher is an absolute legend. She skillfully unpacked the complete story from someone obviously trying to paint a different picture. She needs two raises!
Maybe caller dropping acid. Seems to be hallucinating.
Kudos to the dispatch lady for at least determining that Jeff wasn't breaking any laws.
Jeff my major issue is the ones making these FALSE ALLEGATIONS nothings being done to them . These people need to start being charged with a crime
more power to the police state,
@@BravoMxNo thanks
It not a crime to report what you consider suspicious activity and be wrong. It is a crime to make a false accusation that you know is incorrect.
Kudos to the dispatcher. Doing her job to get the correct information. That should be training for all across the nation.
How dare you break into your own truck and drink WATER, felony arrest, on the ground or you will be shot ! Oops sorry, qualified immunity.
Not to mention the caller assuming he is homeless with no proof at all
If you were parked somewhere and someone did break into your car you wouldn't want a lady like this watching and calling police on what she is seeing? I'm sure you are biased because you know Jeff by his videos but let's be real here, there's alot of weirdos and thiefs around.
@@timb7775Sarcasim is difficult for some… Of course I would want someone to report an individual “supposedly” breaking into my car, your car and anyone’s car.
Give the dispatcher a raise - a big one. Thanks again Jeff.
I am AGAINST Jeff breaking into cars, and especially against breaking into his own truck! The problem with breaking into your own vehicle is that you have to pay to repair it!
😂
😅
Also, you have to pay for the insurance.
@@fjccommish Yeah, and when the insurance company asks who is the a-hole that broke into your car...well...it's very embarrassing.
Yes, Jeff, you need to quit trying multiple doors on your truck. The insanity must stop!

What did she say that was a lie? Quote and time stamp please. 😮
The 911 operators should have a daily prize to whomever receives the first, "Jeff Call".
Kudos to the dispatcher. The caller changed their story quickly!
Police have no incentive to stop false reporting, in fact they encourage and reward it.
You got that right!
Cops don't care who they arrest as long as they GET TO arrest SOMEONE, be it an actual criminal or the caller or even the VICTIM. 🤷
then those cops need to be arrested an or false reported as well for being in a gang an throwing gang signs.
Police departments get paid federal funds $$$ for each call they respond to. Responding, even to silliness makes them $$$. That’s why they always respond.
Gives them something to do.
Why are people not arrested for filing a False report. Police could come with guns drawn on a Person reported as attempting to break into cars. Why is this Woman lying to the police not Arrested ?
Because cops don't care who they arrest, as long as they get to arrest SOMEONE. And cops always believe the call, that's why they wave "we got a call" like a get-out-of-jail-free card to do whatever they want. This is why swatting is STILL a thing. I guess I must have misread the calendar, apparently it's still 1692 Salem. 😒
Yeah its like swatting, which is illegal.
They'd never make the case. Any public defender could easily argue she saw a man that appeared homeless going into at least one car and got a bit confused on the details. Would almost certainly be a waste of taxpayer dollars that doesn't result in a conviction. I'm not defending her; at best, didn't stop and think before sending an armed response or, at worst, she knowingly made a false report to get the police to remove a man she believed was homeless...but proving intent to the standard of "beyond a reasonable doubt" would be damn near impossible.
What she did is SWATTING and she must be arrested
Seems quite relevant.
Calling the police with a fake story intended to generate an unnecessary police response is the textbook definition of swatting!!!
Don't diminish swatting with this nonsense.
Do you actually think a swat team coulda been called to this?! No. Stop exaggerating. It diminishes the real swatting.
@@Alexa-Raineshe called armed agents of the state to a free person going about their day, yes its swatting, who cares if its not the ones with huge egos and using military tactics on free people and a big SWAT on their backs.
Like the lady who called 911, mentioned a gun, screamed then hung up on the operator. The police were not happy. These people lying to ellicate a response can actually get someone killed. Lucky the cops were tactical but professional and established there was no gun without incident
GREAT DISPATCHER. SHE couldn't tell her to mind her business but did in her own professional way to bugoff.
Apparently I missed the memo. This whole " see something say something" apparently means " see something say whatever the heck you want so men with guns will come remove whatever you're seeing and don't like".
Ok. Got it.
To be fair it was left with just "say something" it wasn't specified it had to be the truth.

Props to the dispatcher for real. Trying to debunk that lady's allegations.
Good grief. This caller is trying to get someone in trouble because she's very judgemental and even the 911 operator can tell. Shameful and disgusting. ❤️👍🇺🇲
Exactly! And no one with that kind of accent should be calling the police on real Americans, either. She needs to know her place, or be shown it the hard way.
An imaginary fears can do no good thing.
@@insaneprepper2832 I know good people who have lived here for 40 years and still have very noticeable accents. That means very little. What matters is her very ugly character. Anyone could tell how judgemental and mean she is. That's what counts. ❤️👍🇺🇲
I agree. This caller is evil. She is trying to get a man arrested and accosted by police for what???!
Way to go, dispatcher! Dispatchers are the first line of defense against cops violating rights on calls for service, and she held the line. Thank you! Cops like to use the “If we get a call, we have to come out” excuse. That’s complete bs. If dispatchers do their jobs, correctly, many of these bs calls would be weeded out, and the callers would get an education.
Next time I lock my keys in my car ....I am calling Jeff !
That's a good one
He does _try every door!_ 😂
I love how the dispatcher spells it out for the caller. “…other than trying the door handles of one single vehicle he’s just minding his own business on the public right of way?”
My next question would have been 'and was he trying that car door with a key?'
Nice to see an “operator” ask relevant questions and who also has a basic understanding of “Rights”.
thank God for that dispatcher...
a call like that could have gone completely different, if dispatch had freaked TF out and reacted in an emotionally charged manner.
I used to really respect Jeff, but knowing he's breaking into Jeff's car has made me reconsider.
