Heh - I always noticed the Mexican (Cumbia?) vibe which made this song stand out from their others. I'm guessing this is one of the easier Mike Watt bass covers to play. Then again, I don't know shit about playing guitar of any kind.😁
YES, this is definitely Cumbia/banda influenced!!! This tune stood out to me too when I first heard the album because of this and the sad undertone this song has. You are indeed right as well about this being one of the easier Mike Watt songs!
