Oh my God... I do the same thing for my sons. I have 3 sons too and I buy the same thing in 3s just for sanity in my house. Before I used to buy different stuff for them but the fights and the complaints where never ending so I buy everything in 3s
I'm not that way about clothes, I'll buy what I need only (reasons), & I'd go to Target. But, I acknowledge that I absolutely spend money on groceries. After tracking my habits for the past two months... groceries are my weakest/strongest link. Not even about eating out like that, I just need food in the house, & I like good organic, all-natural stuff. I even go to the grocery store when I travel. I plan on returning to credit by next summer after I pay down debt & establish runway, & I'd absolutely get a credit card only for groceries. Preferably one that racks up air miles. Kill two birds with one stone. And I know Kay's not a fan of budgets, but they really make the picture clearer & simple.
