Really enjoyed the comparison. Wish I still had some of those old guitars I gave away. Ordered a Jim Dandy this will be a keeper New and Improved with out the problems the budget guitars had in their day..

What case did you buy for it???? Looking into picking one of the Jim dandy's up, and definitely want a case for it.
Pretty sure the Jim Dandy is solid wood, not ply.
