@@chantingmammal There all icons mate your right.I watched Paul play drums with the Professionals backing SLF to a packed out CITY HALL in Newcastle.Another great drummer Rat Scabies has just re joined the Damned.Punks not Dead just seasoned ive been into it since 79 for me from 11 and still the same Punks ,Skins from then still turn up in numbers like an unplanned reunion and get the same buzz and adrenaline rush i did back then and the same attitude towards the system.
@@davidlester7066 ...probably the day after I saw them at the Barras in Glesgae for their annual St Paddy's Day gig (which had been cancelled for two years due to COVID, just the night before their scheduled 2020 appearance...); worth the wait!
@@chantingmammal Steve of course being another co-founder of The Professionals... Though I'd describe Sid as being more of an iconic arsehole, with the emphasis not being on iconic!
@@jasonweinberg1929 really...me and my old band mates saw them April 30 '82.. at Florentine gardens in Hollywood...it was really good...we were serious fans of the Sex Pistols but they had broken up and didn't come near to Los Angeles only playing in San Francisco with us being too young to travel...but it was a great concert with us right up in front being crushed...then we got to meet Steve when he came back to LA with a band called Cheqered past...he even played a gig with our old band... where did you see them in '80...was it in England ?

I saw The Professionals with Steve around 1980 they were incredibly lame. They were great with Johnny nothing without him.
