Great job bro, this is a great laser products learning experience for me. Loved all your videos. Keep it up bro!! Love to catch-up with you later for more about laser knowledge. Thank you very much and be safe. God bless. I have some ideas about this laser technique that can be used for and I think you may like to see.
Super cool project, I think it’s fine with the wires 😄👍🏻 .. but I think the melamine should be on the edge of the wood to look better.. just a question, why u didn’t make it with MDF and colored it with black color?? I think it will be easier for you .. but over all it looks amazing 👌🏻
I didn’t have the edge banding to do the edges or I would have. I used the melamine because I had it lying around and it was thicker. I’m also running low on MDF right now haha. Thank you for watching!
To me, it seems that you could easily put your melamine in the laser and use the laser to etch the holes that you want to drill out for the stand offs. It would be much more exact and one less thing that you can screw up.
@@MakerExperiment you put it in the laser as a square shape. Engrave your standoff and the circular perimeter that will be a guide to line up your router template.
TO MAKE THE MIDDLE SHINE MORE IF YOU HAVE THE LEDS TOO FAR APART, SIMPLY ADD A REFLECTIVE MIRROR TAPE OR EVEN GLUE MIRROR TO OUTER PORTION OF CLOCK MECHANISM.. THERE ARE OTHER WAYS TO REFLECT OR ADD MORE LIGHT, BUT THIS IS JUST A SIMPLE SUGGESTION..
This as a fun project that I was able to do using a design that I made years ago. I love being able to use a single design for multiple projects!
The etching came out incredible, and the way it glows with the LEDs, awesome 👍
Native Son Wood Art thank you. It’s definitely taken a while to figure out how to get a good engraving result.
@@MakerExperiment I'll have to hit you for advice when I finally get a laser
Native Son Wood Art let me know.
Wow... that’s way cool... 😍😍 Beautiful.
Thank you!
Yeah...nice! Looks great!
Incredible project man! Can't believe (I mean I can, but wow) goes into a piece like that! Really cool!

Recommendation: put a teaser of the final product at the beginning of the video.
Ligand Bind I’ll keep that in mind. Thanks.

You could if you line it up perfectly.

@@jowens1126 yes, there are lots of ways to do things.
Many talk waste the time..
