09:20 Yes and no, Allah said in The Holy Quran 06:108, "And do not insult those they invoke other than Allah, lest they insult Allah in enmity without knowledge. Thus We have made pleasing to every community their deeds. Then to their Lord is their return, and He will inform them about what they used to do." But in a certain case - like the Prophet Ibrahim AS & Prophet Muhammad SAW did - destroying a statue/idol to prove that it can not do anything, it's useless to worship it, might be necessary depending on the circumstances. We also have to consider the right of other people to believe in any faith, as long as they don't force it on us and/or they don't interrupt/attack us to worship Allah. I heard that question being answered once if I'm not mistaken: It was only for Ibrahim AS as a prophet on a mission to destroy the idols and does not apply in our times. For example, Islam protects Churches (full of idols within it). Reason is Muslims are supposed to invite non-believers with the message (the Quran) while exhibiting good manners.
According to the prophet muhammed PBUH, it is forbidden for us to harm the places of worship of other faiths. Although In an Islamic land there is a difference of opinion on the permissibility of Idol worship within their boundaries. Regardless it is wrong for an individual to attack a place of worship or disrespect anothers faith.
Destroying idols is an obligation when you have the means to do it. Where are you getting this?
@@ConquerModernity111 Idols owned by non muslims are protected under the contract of Dhimmi as long as they are kept inside houses and places of worship. Some madhabs consider only Christians and Jews to fall under Dhimmi but other madhabs also include idolaters. As long as it is practiced by atleast one of the 4 great madhabs, we technically can't deny the law/contract. Feel free to double check.

Prophet Muhammad did not smesh the makkan idols in the kabah in 23 y of dawah in the city until he conquered the city, because after that he became the ruler and authority of the Makkah. 3 lessons which I get from the story of the Ibrahim A.S are:
1) If the whole world wants to harm you or give you any benefit they cannot do it but only if Allah wills it.
2) Ask only from Allah not even from angels, unfortunately some of our brothers from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh think we can ask from the people who were closer to Allah.
3) Talk with Allah, make dua and know that Allah listens to everyone who calls upon him and remember that he is the creator of the entire universe thing which seems impossible to you is nothing in front of Allah he just has to say "کن".
I love the Quran, it has a lot of good life lessons, Blessed Be.

I have been watching all of your commentary videos up to that moment and beyond. Allah truly guides those who seek Him through knowledge and rationality. Allah is the most gracious, the most wise.
Ibrahim pbuh is one of my favorite prophets for his friendship with Allah. Ibrahim pbuh teaches us before everything else that Allah is sufficient for us and that He is an excellent guardian. May Allah accept us as his friends and servants aswell.
Because I am a knowledge-seeker and love rationality aswell, here is a beautiful hadith to reflect on narrated by Ibn Abbas:
Ibn Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them) said:
“When Prophet Ibrahim alaihis salam was thrown into the fire, he said: “Hasbunallahu Wa Ni’mal Wakil, Allah (Alone) is sufficient for us, and, He is the Best Disposer of affairs.” So did Messenger of Allah, Muhammad (Peace be upon him), when he was told: “A great army of the pagans had gathered against him, so fear them.” But this (warning) only increased him and the Muslims in Faith and they said: “Hasbunallahu Wa Ni’mal Wakil, Allah (Alone) is sufficient for us, and He is the Best Disposer of affairs (for us).” [Al-Bukhari]

173. Those who were warned, “Your enemies have mobilized their forces against you, so fear them,” the warning only made them grow stronger in faith and they replied, “Allah ˹alone˺ is sufficient ˹as an aid˺ for us and ˹He˺ is the best Protector.”
174. So they returned with Allah’s favours and grace, suffering no harm. For they sought to please Allah. And surely Allah is ˹the˺ Lord of infinite bounty.

Ibrahim ﷺ came to monotheism from his own logical inference and rationality. Scholars say thay he officially became a prophet when angel jibreel appeared when he was being thrown into the fire.
They cannot destroy idols in our current era, of course, unlike the time of Prophet Abraham (peace be upon him), where there was no one else who rejected them, meaning that he exposed himself to danger alone. But now, there are many Muslims and non-Muslims who would not be against those who destroy idols, but rather against everyone. The Quran says in Surah Al-Kafirun (Chapter of the Disbelievers): "To you, your religion, and to me, mine." As long as they do not harm you, you cannot attack them. Allah Almighty also said addressing the Prophet (peace be upon him): "And had you been rude [in speech] and harsh in heart, they would have disbanded from about you." Islam spread through love and good treatment, my brother Bobby.

So Bobby for Muslims who accept Islam in Buddhist countries, depending on the situation could destroy the idols. For example, if a majority of a town become Muslim then they must destroy the idols around them if they're able to do so. However, if it's one or two Muslims then destroying the idols isn't something they should do because it can bring more harm than benefit, both to them individually, as well as cause people to hate Islam for destroying their beloved idols. However, in certain situations it can be done. for example if you become a Muslim and you have a friend who worships an idol or father or elder who you know and you hope for their Islam you can destroy their specific idol such as what some of the companions of the Prophet did with their elderly father's idols. They did this to make a point that his idols could not even defend themselves which led to their elderly father accepting Islam and because their elderly father was a chieftain in his tribe many more people became Muslim.
SO in the end this matter is not a black and white matter and after weighing the benefit vs harm it can be permissible to destroy idols in a Buddhist society or it can be impermissible.
So beautifully explained may Allah reward you.
This story is in the quran its good if they relate to the jus, surah and ayah(verse).

Our father abraham phub was a smart, courageous, strong willed person who was also a leader of his family. Each of the prophets we know give us perspective of how we should be, like ayub or job as he taught us patience, or Muhammad pbuh taught us hilm (strong patience with the ability to forgive)
Salam guys, could you all pray for a friend called Liam - perhaps someone’s private dua will be answered. Trying to approach this friend with truth of Islam, although he defends it against other religions and speaks good for muslims, he is stubbornly adamant atheist. My heart breaks to see someone living a hollow life without God. Plus he is so busy working to build a financially stable life as a broke immigrant , now satan has trapped him in the work grind with no time to spare for anything else.

Have you not considered the one who argued with Abraham about his Lord [merely] because Allāh had given him kingship? When Abraham said, My Lord is the one who gives life and causes death, he said, I give life and cause death. Abraham said, Indeed, Allāh brings up the sun from the east, so bring it up from the west. So the disbeliever was overwhelmed [by astonishment], and Allāh does not guide the wrongdoing people.
