I understand why some people would ask that, i wondered that my self whether tarn is a girl or a boy. But in times like this, quite a lot of people that we thought were women turns out to be a man, even in places like where i come from where it's considered a taboo for a man dressing as a woman/transexual there is still considerably a lot of people who does that. We were just genuinely curious, because she looks a little less feminine, not that it's bad but it sometimes just raise a question due to the situation i mentioned earlier. Regardless of her gender i still think she's a talented drummer

Akane of Band-Maid is also a top notch drummer (check out her drum solo at 2:07 in "Freedom"), as is Tarn of course. Not trying to compare. Check all of these young ladies out. THEY ARE (and others) ALL THE BEST IN THE WORLD! They will all leave you speechless. Oh, and JUNNA (a powerhouse beast!). She smashes the cymbals like Tarn. Yoyoka cracked two cymbals playing "Kill The King" and dubbed it "Kill The Cymbals". Akane's nickname is "Gorilla".

I'm sure that is the number one reason and I was unsure how to ask that question without it sounding disrespectful to her own culture and language. I still appreciate the energy and excitement she brings to drumming.
@@ronaldberry3063 nah it's not disrespectful at all since more than half of us are bad at English. Instead, we're really glad to see tons of foreign audiences giving attention to Thai people because we don't usually get that much recognition.
@@ronaldberry3063 I’m Thai and I guess I understand why she feels more comfortable answering in Thai. My English is of course not perfect, but definitely is much better than most Thais. I can watch movies in English, read news in English, etc. without much difficulty. However, my weakest point is speaking English and it’s because I rarely get a chance to practice it living in Thailand. I guess this is the same for many Thais including Tarn. At 4:14 she actually said she would answer in Thai because she’s not comfortable answering in English.

I only asked because when I first started following her I found a long interview she did in English about why she loves to play drums, her influences, and talking about how she teaches music and is venturing into learning other instruments. So the more I started to follow her UA-cam and Facebook channel and catch these Q&A's they were always in Thai . It's no biggie to me as long as I am able to read the subtitles because I don't know anything about your language so it would be pointless for me. I just really enjoy watching her play because I can see how she just closes her eyes and jams out. It comes so natural to her and she gets into it instead of just looking like a bored woman playing the drums.

I had a co-worker from Thailand that worked front desk at a time share with me. ชอบมากครับ เล่นเก่งมาก เมื่อก่อนผมก็เล่นดนตรีครับ พอผมป่วยเป็นซึมเศร้าความกระหายอยากเล่นก็เริ่มลดลงๆ จนไม่มีความรู้สึกอยากเล่น ต่อให้หยิบกีต้าร์ขึ้นมาจะเล่น แต่ก็เล่นได้ไม่เกิน30นาทีก็จะรู้สึกเบื่อ ทึกวันนี้ก็ยังรักษาตัวอยู่ เริ่มอยากกลับมาเล่น แต่กลายเป็นว่า ลืม!! ลืมทุกอย่าง แต่ดีที่ยังพอตีคอร์ดได้ สมาธิไม่ดีเหมือนเมื่อก่อน ตอนนี้รู้สึกเหมือนหัดเล่นใหม่ๆครับ อยากเล่นแต่ทำไม่ได้ ขอกำลังใจหน่อยครับ เกือบ 4 ปีแล้วที่ต้องรักษาโรคนี้ และเป็นระยะเวลาเท่าๆกันกับการที่ไม่ได้จับกีต้าร์เลย

I had a co-worker from Thailand that worked front desk at a time share with me. People used to get really mad at him (some more then others) when he spoke to them sometimes (O.k alot of sometimes) He would ask me sometimes "Why is everyone getting so mad at me?" LOL!!
