Kripp! I just wanted to let you know, I never watch your stream because of the time zones we are in, but I never skip your videos. Watching you has de facto made me a better player. The thorough explanation you give us in the beginning of every video is made easier to understand when you actually illustrate it with specific cases in the games that follow. It is a very effective format. I used to be that rank 12-10 and have 3-5 wins guy in the Arena, now I am consistently making into rank 5 and reaching 7-10 in arena, stacking gold and feeling good. Hopefully I can get even better, and who knows, achieve legend in ladder soon. Thank you so much for your videos!
It depends on the situation very much, if the lock plays a battlecry or any interactive card and hopes for a 50/50 or whatever, then you have to understand the tap last because there could be an answer. Thats why I hate when people whine about the "tap last", they can't see the big picture if its not narrated to them.
Hi Kripp, I'm following you a quite big moment now, I'm always very interested in your videos because you always argue very well your explanations and you have a good speaking rythm. I usually don't comment but this was the occasion since I love druid but didn't had a chance to draft it since WoG is out ... But had great arena runs as warrior following your advice. Anyway, wish you good continuation on your videos and in general. See you
I had a deck like that recently, however, my minions were generally lower value for the mana than my opponents'. Got 4-3, two of the losses were games that went into fatigue. Very nice experience tho, I felt much less affected by bullshit RNG than with other classes recently, just that I had no reach to seal the deal.
So right now, 2 druids had explosive on-curve draws and one got a Sneed's out of gorilla bot turn 6 which he could play on turn 7. I was rogue, I had 1, 2 and 3 drops and the 1 drops haven't come out AT ALL. Thanks RNJesus, I had good cards and you managed to crush my dreams... The other had 2 marks of Yaashaarj on a Creeper... and played on-curve. The whole thing at 3 wins.
interesting analysis, but it's true for every class : arena is random tempo, and paladin is the best pick if you pick a few key class cards. Worst class usually are priest & druid, true (and maybe warrior because of hero power)
this is something I have been wanting to hear a rant about by kripp, how good are misclicks? or something of the sort just a rant about misclicks and how they can be game losing sometimes
I completely agree. Right now, because of OG, druid is my second best class with 7.2 average wins per run. Don't go rampy, just draft the beast synergies, curve low, take all Marks you see, take initiative, and go face.
I play Druid, and I would love a great removal card for Druid. They need a Druid card that turns a minion into a tree. 2 mana spell that turns a minion into a 2/2 tree.
Here's my limited with Druid in WoG: They got some great cards, but they're mostly Cthun cards or higher rarity which leaves the class with Mark of Yash' and what feels like 2 other cards. (Mire keeper and that grizzly) Druid kinda feels like hunter now. You often times want or even need beasts in your deck to make cards work. I had it already that I'm forced to chose 2 druid of the fang early in the draft (because the alternatives were unplayable) and get 2 beasts in the rest of the draft. (croc and tallstrider or sth like that)
I just realised how sad buffing deathrattles are... Its like the minion that its buffing is really happy that it dies and gets stronger because of it... FeelsBadMan
Emmett Chan All he is saying is "small sample sizes aren't really saying much". Which is technically right. That's all *I* was saying. What's your point again?
I realized that the way you win in arena with Druid is by playing stuff as fast as you possibly can. You will outlast your opponent, so tempo is absolutely the number one priority,
i went 11-2 as warlock last night with an amazing deck (lots of demons + Mal'Ganis + DOOM!) - i even beat a mage with 3 (THREE) blizzards + flamestrike + other strong spells. but i got wrecked in game 14 by an extremely aggressive druid - it was essentially over on turn 5 or 6
Reegar carbine is still really good since balance patch. I've seen people kill a brute with a couple inferno grenades and a full reegar clip using incendiary ammo III. I spec'd my Krogan sentinel wrong so I'll have to wait to promote him before I can use that build. It looks fun though. I ran into people doing the platinum cheese on Firebase White. Needless to say, a melee Krogan vanguard was really out of place among Salarian Engineers. Krogan PTSD from the genophage maybe? Lol.
Minion centric class in arena, because you don't have removal (Mulch, Naturalize, yeah.....) you only have one early-mid game clear - Swipe - other than that it's trash again, and you can't ramp in arena. So you have to draft insane things like Mounted Raptors and trade forever with minions, until you put up one big minion that sticks to the board. Or win via some other shenanigans with tokens and Roar. Turns out it's pretty baaaaaad in arena.
Actually, Druid is the only class I went 12 wins with... and I did it twice. Druid is all about curving out excellently, then cast Soul of the Forest, power of the wild, or another card that boosts your whole board.
I've gotten 12 wins a few times with druid and have averaged 7 wins with it in Whisper of the old gods. also one of two classes i've achieved flawless arena with beside rogue.
I think it's sorta interesting. Druid has some insanely overpowered cards, but Blizzard balances it by not giving them removal which weakens them in Arena and in constructed. In my opinion it is a great game design move
Got my first 12-0 with druid, drafted beast synergy deck with 1 swipe 1 wrath 1 living roots and 6 best quality 2- and 3 drops. Always pick Druid of the claw.
What do good, well experienced players pick? Not Druid. That leaves mostly new/un-experienced players who pick any champion not knowing there's a meta of intentionally ignoring certain heroes. But what you said seems good too.
6:04 "They either get to see whether they were right or whether the other option was right." Not really though. Not always does the result show how good an actual play was. if you play around a card which the opponent just doesn't draw you did rightly so, however judging off the result it would have been wrong.
Hi Kripp I really suck at arena been improving since I started watching your videos. Can you make a video on how to draft in arena specifically what cards work best with each class and the play style of each class.
not attacking with the spider is definetely a missplay but getting one 2/2 and two 1/1's is usually better than two 2/2's. So this part was actually correct.
better dont start counting mistakes of his opponents if i remember right the warlock tapped every time AFTER he played something i cant understand how someone can get even that easy things wrong
Well actually my latest arena run was a 12/2 with a pretty mediocre druid deck. Druid is also the class i got the most 12 win runs with. Druid seems to be the best arena class for me actually xD
Kripp always talks all the time about how good his opponents deck is, yet he is still winning, yet opponent didn't missplay, yet he draws better all the time, and did I mention his opponent had better RNG as well? HOW ARE YOU STILL WINNING KRIPP?!! YOU'RE INHUMAN
Yeah, I've only lost to one druid since the edxpansion came out...and that was because he got board control for like two turns around turn 7 and 8, he plopped down Illidan on that turn 7 and I couldn't kill him. That's the only reason I lost that game. Course, I don't play nearly as often as Kripp does, but yeah. Also, what exactly did Druids get in the Old Gods expansion? Can't even remember, Fandral is kinda weak cause most likely you're not going to get enough synergy cards, the Mark of Y'sharajj is situational and not terribly good anyways...and that's all I can really think of. They got 2 C'thun class cards, but I'm pretty sure C'thun cards are excluded from arena so those don't matter.
Yeah, Dark arakoa the good card they got, is left out, they got addled grizzly (3 mana 2/2 give each minion you summon +1/+1) and Feral Rage (Choose One Gain 4 attack for this turn or Gain 8 armor)
Kayden Dubmen Oh, I forgot about the Grizzly. Eh, that could be fairly useful in some circumstances I guess. But lets see...with that stat distribution, I'm guessing to get "enough value" out of it you'd need to get it to buff 2 minions though, cause that'd kind of make it like a 4/4 for 3 mana. Still though, that's kind of okay. But if that's it for this expansion, and arena draft picks are trended to more likely give you Old Gods cards, then Druids...kind of got shit on I feel like.
theStonerKid69 Yeah, i mean you can make a cute zoo druid with the card i imagine it'd be good with living roots, but i woudln't know i've bene playing miracle yogg druid
Yooooooooo!!! There is so much talk in the forums about how Druid was nerfed to hell!!! The most viable druid deck out there for Druid are C'thun, simple as that, granted this is arena, but the thing is, that nerf hurt a lot of druids key cards. Fandral is consistent, sorry. 0:04 Watch Kripp fuckers.
They really need something like a 4 drop which gains +3/3 if your hand is empty...
Are you competing with the other Ragerino?
Good idea Blizzard should do that.
4 mana 3 3?
you're a fucking idiot learn to read

Damn, Kripp no longer has WILD hair.
It's to standard for the swag
How can a class that kills me with its hero power be bad?
It takes 5 whole damage while doing it!
Then they heal, with me! Renorino!
Because it can't kill me. :)
^Justicar Trueheart
How can a class that can kill me be bad, they don't even take dmg
Because you are a shit 0 drop that no one cares.
when i see warlock tap last it just hurst my soul so badly. i guess "your soul shall suffer" is true

How tempo is tempo?
It turns out, it's pretty tempo
Temporino Kripperino incoming ?
Hello, my child
Value of this tempo is preeetty good
Kripperino Temporino wow but y Gorhowl ? its a slow card...

Last time I was this early, I got rich!
I'm running low on material here cut me a break
It's ok reno, it's ok
Worst kripperino in arenareno
You can give someone a break or you can cut someone some slack. I don't think you'd be very successful with cutting someone a break.
You're OP in the current Tavern Brawl Kappa

7:09 That perfect silence and voice synergy!
There is always one class that is no fun after an expansion. I loved to play priest arena back in the day.

10:00 "Wheeere shall I strike?" "Where shall I strike?" Jesus Kripp, will you tell them where to strike already?
I just had a 9 win Druid today - triple swipe, decent curve.
I had a deck like that recently, however, my minions were generally lower value for the mana than my opponents'. Got 4-3, two of the losses were games that went into fatigue. Don't skipp the kripp! BibleThump
I was so hyped about the explosive sheep, madder bomber lethal
rofl the reference to skipping the kripperoni makes me chuckle.
@9:07 SMOrc Bad Kripp, missed 1 face damage.
Be honest Kripp...the whole point of this vid was to show off your deck tracker stats, wasn't it?
7:08 made me chuckle.
I lost once against Druid in WotOG Arena and that was with Paladin; the Druid had Dragon Egg turn 1 and Mark of the Wild turn 2.
I play Druid, and I would love a great removal card for Druid.
They need a Druid card that turns a minion into a tree. 2 mana spell that turns a minion into a 2/2 tree.
0:12 Don't skip the kripperoni.Ok, but we will skip the kripperino. 5:32

3:12 it proves that you only have 5 runs there so statistics aren't very trustable
Are you dumb?
He is technically right. Are *you* dumb?
+Tarantel666 He is technically not right, why are you defending his idiocy?
Emmett Chan All he is saying is "small sample sizes aren't really saying much". Which is technically right.
That's all *I* was saying. What's your point again?
+Emmett Chan we defend our points with arguments not with insults, that's what differences is to animals
nearly no druid class cards in the drafted deck...
Am i the only viewer who likes watching kripp more than the gameplay
god bless gillette the kripp has finally trimmed that stache.
10:03 Where shall I strike Where shall I strike
I realized that the way you win in arena with Druid is by playing stuff as fast as you possibly can. You will outlast your opponent, so tempo is absolutely the number one priority,
1:25 shots fired
Don't skipp the kripp!
Well, there was me thinking Druid would be good since Old Gods came out.
Got my first 10 wins in arena. I have total 50 wins and don't play hearthstone much. I would like to thank Kripps fun vids for the win streak
i went 11-2 as warlock last night with an amazing deck (lots of demons + Mal'Ganis + DOOM!) - i even beat a mage with 3 (THREE) blizzards + flamestrike + other strong spells. but i got wrecked in game 14 by an extremely aggressive druid - it was essentially over on turn 5 or 6
8:35 Why not Poison seeds at the end? gets rid of the 6/10 and gives 3 2/2s plus 2 1/1s

at 9:06 why didn't he attack first before Poison Seeds? Avoiding Battle Rage?
Getting a tempo lead here
What do good, well experienced players pick? Not Druid. That leaves mostly new/un-experienced players who pick any champion not knowing there's a meta of intentionally ignoring certain heroes.
But what you said seems good too.
10:09 where shall i strike? where shall i strike?
The sad day when the 6 mana 5/7 Taunt didn't make arena

Hi Kripp I really suck at arena been improving since I started watching your videos. Can you make a video on how to draft in arena specifically what cards work best with each class and the play style of each class.
Druid was my favorite, i've reached rank 15 with it with no gold cards. But since I cannot use Naxx cards, L20.
sick sample size
multiple misplays at 9:03. did not attack with spider. also should have ran the spider into a minion to spawn the 2 1/1's and THEN used poison seeds

I had like 7 wins runs with druid recently - got 2x Swipe with Jungle Moonkin :-)
what class is the most efective on arena?
I was at 12 health playing rouge and got 3 swipes with intervate to face, thanks Druid!
they got naturlize and mulch right?
i skipped
I never skip the kripperroni
what deck tracker does he use? im trying to find a decent one and having these stats might be helpful = ) t
Which deck tracker is kripp using?
I think its "deck tracker"
Only meme accounts in the comments, so nobody mentions Kripp's rather brilliant description of the spectator experience 5:45.
Keeper of the Grove, Force of Nature/Savage Roar combo, Ancient of Lore, like dafuq?!? I get the Forced of Nature/Savage Roar combo being somewhat overwhat kill, but they pretty much rekt'd that class.

DO people consider Druid a strong class in Arena? Did they ever? I can't say I did... right now I'm getting far better results with Hunter than Druid, and Hunter is almost universally accepted to be one of the "bottom two". (Theoretically, maybe, but in practice I don't think it works out that way.)
9:10 missed one damage FailFish
he couldve had 2 2/2s instead of 2 1/1s if he suicided the spider
He meant he needed to attack face with the spider, what he didnt do
I noticed that too, but maybe he was playing round like Battle Rage?
Maybe, but then why he said "oh i missed 1 face damage? i guess its a misplay" maybe he did it without even thinking?
@DieChaosBohne the way he did it he made 2x 1/1s and 1 2/2.. the mistake was not attacking face and kripp realized it a bit after. :P
'Dont skip the kripperoni!' But i will skip the kripperino Kappa
