You're wrong, my confused friend!. We, the Spaniards, speak Spanish with 19 different accents (1per each autonomous community and the two autonomous cities, Ceuta and Melilla in the north of Africa +the bereber dialect spoken in that two beautiful towns too). We have too a few of different official lenguajes in Vasquez County, Catalonia, Galicia, Balearic Islands and Valencia. There is too other many dialects in Asturias, Aragon, Extremadura and others that I can't remember right now. And of course, the common idiom, the "Castellano" or Spanish as it's known around the world. As you can see we have powerful reasons for to have different accents (that isn't "to speak Spanish wrong", as you want to say). In the south of Spain, from a long time ago, exist a huge multinational community with thousands of hundreds of British, German, French citizens and from many other countries who are living in Spain since decades and the most of them are unableds of speaking Spanish yet,(and we have a good communication with them, without big problems) .... ¿So Why we should to make the effort in the way to speak a perfect English? There is a fantastic relationship between all of us when the intention from both parts is the correct and the mutual respect is the priority. NOTE : Sorry for my poor level of English (I'm 12 years old and I started to learn just two years ago).
