If she was a background dancer like Blue Ivy, that is fine. But she was given a central role when she was not good enough, nor accomplished enough.in other spheres to warrant her presence there.
Marc is currently teaching at CCNY?
Of course it was but don't blame the child she didn't Negotiate anything that was her parents
Also, if it wasn’t for generational artistry, a lot of art would simply not happen, simply because most ppl who do not identify as a creative will not push their children into a creative sector. I come from a family of artists and if it wasn’t for that I would be a lost cause cog without a destination.
Stop it Mark. This child should not have gotten the part, she was terrible through no fault of her own but facts are facts. Poor kid being indulged to a point of oblivion.
Just admit it was GARBAGE simple
Marc you wear so many hats. So much respect for you. Is there anything you don’t know about!!
Woww Dr. Marc Lamont Hill with the strawman!
Hmm... I don't completely agree with the commentary in the video because the North is 10 and II have said the same thing about Ivy Blue... These are growth and personality forming years for these kids and I am not sure global criticism is a load a child can manage and easily brush off their shoulder. North's parents have not set her up for success.. we never see kids like this studying anything but what is trending. If she was into dance and taking singing classes, etc... maybe you could understand this, but taking away an opportunity for a child that is trained and experienced in this to only leave your kid vulnerable to negative criticism and bashing online and in the news for the sake of headlines and money says a lot about her parents and I feel for her
That’s a child. Leave her alone
She should stay in a child's place! That child be online talking crap like a spoiled silly brat!
@@FrancisTurner-z6z and ya’ll should act like adults instead of bullies.. adults don’t always know best.. the biggest bullies are older ppl
Marc you looking good!!
Is those to guys TMZ are Brothers they look like
Wow... thier actually promoting nepotism...
His mouth is too wide open
Nothing but The Truth Marc! College Legacy, My Best Friend Head of the Union, My best Friend Mayor or City Council, My best Friend SR Partner at The Firm, Give my Child the job! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽🇺🇸✔️
I thought she was going to have a small part or extra.
Notice how North and Kim is getting all this criticism but no one has said a peep about Blue Ivy Carter being in Mufasa. But yall will never criticize the carters the way yall do everyone else.
the difference is people are waiting to judge Blue until Mufasa releases. North is not getting criticized because she got selected for the role; she's getting criticized because her talent doesn't seem to be up to par. If Blue Ivy is terrible in Mufasa ppl will not be quiet about it. Although knowing the Carter's and their level of perfectionism, I doubt that Blue will be in Mufasa without being properly trained and killing her performance. The Kardashian-West family doesn't seem to care that much about quality.
I mean we know Beyonce is not gonna allow ger child to do anything unless she can kill it. She's a Virgo. Kim with all that money could have gotten her singing lessons or she could've done something in studio and lipsynced. Kim didn't care. She set her daughter up to fail and probably let her believe she did "awesome "
Oh Blue Ivy has had plenty of criticism since her birth. Please stop with your self!
Exactly Blue is more talented and can sing and dance North just can’t do it
North is a kid , I don't see the nepotism. Is a parent producing the play?
Nepotism in terms of having connections that others don’t.
I love nepotism.
😂HATERS GONNA HATE😂 Thank you Professor HILL for your BRILLIANT nuanced Analysis. 👏🏽👏🏽✌🏽
no talent...pure nepotism
Her performance is terrible. Sorry, not sorry though.🙄
