A very interesting selection, I like that you include visuals of the actual game instead of just talking about games like some other reviewers do. Your video about Essen and the games you mentioned at the end are pretty enticing too. Keep up the good work!
totally with you on Courtisans! 🤩 Harmonies is nice but I felt I got the whole of it after a few games, and was kinda doing the same thing again and again 😐
Fun video! I wish more people would do a top 10 so far video because most people wait until the end of the year when recency bias kicks in and some titles get forgotten.
Would you keep the game title card (name, publisher, designer, release year, etc) up for the whole section in future videos, please? I'm often multitasking during these lists and will jump back to the UA-cam window mid-selection after that graphic has faded away. Love your presence and presentation!
Harmonies and Windmill Valley will likely be on my list that we do later this year (or early 2025) - some great picks! Have you tried Naishi? Its only available on BGA in the states, but it's SO good and will make you want to play a physical version IMO. Cheers from the Tabletop Express! - CB
Courtisans is sooo good I had to leave a comment on Tom Vasels review when he said he despised games like this and you had have no choices in it because you draw three cards blindly. There’s a LOT to think about! Anyways nothing against Tom but I couldn’t let that go lol! My daughter, wife and myself LOVE it. Thanks guys for the list have a great one.
We all get things wrong sometimes, lol. Courtisans has a very fun decision space, and I could definitely see it becoming a modern card game staple, like Scout.
how come there is no information online of who will be distributing Shackleton Base in the USA? or the release date for that matter? only zatu games has it listed for pre order in the UK :/
Over on Board Game Geek, Sorry We Are French have said they will have more info on the US release after Essen Spiel, so I would watch that space. But for people in the UK I just did a search and several shops currently show it as in stock. It looks like it may be one of those times when we get something first.

Thanks for sharing. I too am interested in your #1 selection. Hopefully it will be available for pre-order soon.
I think it just hit shelves here in the UK.

Thanks! That was exactly our thought, because we are as guilty or that as anyone.

Courtisans is totally sold out here. Waiting on a restock!
Here too. I think maybe it's popularity surprised everyone. I hear that a reprint is coming though.
In no particular order
Mistwind
Wondrous Creatures
Looot
Lets Go! To Japan
Foundations of Metropolis
I am sooo keen to play looot!
Andromeda's Edge would have been which #?
We haven't played it yet, so no idea.
Amazing list - Shackleton is an absolute knockout
