By that principle, we should apply our western rising sign as 1st house. By vedic, pluto will be a few degrees in Capricorn. Then we should go normally by our lagna or ascendant as 1st house. In this case listen for your WEStern ascendant ( i follow and understand both systems , this is technique... add 24 degrees to vedic placements and get western placements for sun moon rising ect.
Pluto is moving to Aquarius based on western tropical astrology. My ascendant is Capricorn asked on western astrology but is Sagittarius in Vedic. Which time stamp should I use. Because it changes the house Pluto is transiting and hence the effect. Since it will be effective for next 20 years it is important for us to have that clarification

What they gave calculated is perfect. Currently pluto is in Capricorn as per the vedic chart and will move into aquarius on 20 the Jan Soothing wrong in what is stated in the video. Not at all confusing.
I've just checked on jyoptish apps, pluto in vedic calculation is about 5 degrees in capricorn, so roughly it will only move to Aquarius in year 2040. If you talk about western perspective, we are focusing on aquarius but in vedic its in capricorn and we all have planets 23 degrees behind western , so you cannot explain conjunction of our natal planets & effects unless we use our western birth chart. Because for some people, their ascendant sign change in vedic.

Please don’t mix western and Vedic transits. It causes confusion. Pluto is currently in Vedic Capricorn so your whole interpretation for all the signs is off, unless you are doing western reading.
